Warm, snuggly, worth it!
Great for in vehicle bed, or tent all season use. Well made, comfortable with a two bag adjacent, joining zipper and can emergency sleep two by itself. Too bulky to hike many miles though is more comfortable than -30° Duck bags that are more suited to back packing. Quality and materials including zippers are first class and damp resistant. Depending on season if this bag gets too warm i use it unzipped. Takes 30 seconds to unbag pulling the roll from the center and about 90 seconds to roll up and stuff into the double strap outer compression bag included.

Works Well In Cold
Do not buy this for backpacking on anything where space is tight. The bag is large and bulky compared to most lower rated bags. However I tested the bag last night on my deck. I live in Fairbanks, AK and it was 40 below zero. I used 3 ground pads as I was otherwise on wood, a basic winter hat, wool socks, long underwear, Sherpa flannel shirt and a puffer jacket. After two hour I'm confident I hit an equilibrium temp. Toes were warm, fingers good. Needed to turn sides every 30 min or so to keep contact points from getting cold. Basically it was a bit uncomfortable but you could easily cat nap the night away. I consider this a good result at 40 below seeing it is advertised as 30 below. This bag is best for car camping or for emergency preparedness to keep on vehicle for remote winter travel, which is my intended use. With a liner and better ground insulation one could use this well below 40 below.

this sleeping bag is bulky but warm!!! It is worth the investment for a great cold weather bag!!!

Confortable
Love it. It’s huge though. I have to use the largest washer at a laundromat to lightly clean it. Very comfortable.

Warm Worth The Money
My son bought this for his boundary waters trip at the end of May. Said he stayed way warmer than his prior trips up there. Said he even had to sleep with it unzipped to not get too hot.
