Es de alta necesidad tener un medidor de tension.
Es muy facil de usar y me ayudo bastante a poder corregir la tension de mi maquina. Yo tengo una Ricoma EM-1010 que constantemente rompia el hilo por no tener la tension correcta. Despues de usar el medidor de tension, mi maquina esta corriendo sin mas problemas de tener la tension incorrecta. Les recomiendo a todos los que tengan maquinas de bordado de cualquier marca que se compren un medidor de tension que les ayudara muchisimo!

Works great!
As a sewing machine technician I use this tension gauge a lot! It works amazingly well and it is super easy to use, but you have to be careful with it because the plastic can break easily if dropped on a hard floor. Great product though!

Works fine to gauge the tension on my embroidery machine
I lost my old tension gauge for my commercial embroidery machines but had no need to change the tension on the knobs for a while because I generally use the same brand and weight thread all the time. Recently I forgot and put a different brand thread on one of the machines and ran into trouble with the tension. When I saw this tool I immediately ordered it and was able to adjust the tension for the new thread so that it runs smoothly. Once it's set correctly for the thread, as long as it's threaded through the machine correctly, the tension should be good until you change weight or brand of thread again.

Cost too much.
Ridiculously over priced and cheaply made. It works, but come on with the pricing!

Better off running a I or H tension test
I calibrated and used this tension tool exactly as described in the instructions and how to videos, and this is still way too off. You are better off just running and I or H tension test to get your tensions where they need to be. The only gauge that's worth it is the bobbin tension gauge. This one is a waste of money.
