Electric Kettle - Rapid Boil & Cordless - by Mixpresso Coffee (Stainless Steel)

Extra EDIT, 5-21-19:It's been a year and a half, and the kettle stopped working.EDIT: Do not buy this! I was initially thrilled. I bought two. One for my office. Both started rusting within a month. I don't believe these are really stainless steel. And that's scary. Because. Then, what kind of metal is this, and what is it doing to our health? These are sadly just pieces of junk. Please do not be as foolish as I was.Very impressed. It's beautifully made, inside and out. The lid has a nice latch. It shuts off automatically when it reaches a full boil. It's lightweight and the cordless base is very minimal. It holds a lot of water, but the footprint is relatively small (because of the height). I'm planning to buy another one for my office.

At first it seemed fine, although there was a smell of plastic from the lid. Still, you get what you pay for and I could live with that. Unfortunately, I ordered it in October and it was dead at the end of January. We treated it with kindness and consideration; there were no drops or neglect, it just stopped working. Not cool.

I ordered this at the beginning of October (delivered 10/10) and it just stopped working this morning 12/25 so it only worked a little over two months. This kettle has no insulation so the water gets cool very soon after you heat it and it took much longer than my previous electric kettle to heat the same amount of water. Look elsewhere.

If you weren't awake fully when you plugged this in, you will be soon... It's very LOUD!! And if you can get past the noise, you surely won't enjoy the strong chemical/metal taste of the boiled water. Even after washing this with hot soapy water twice and using it at least 20 times, it STILL had a strong chemical type smell and taste. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because Amazon graciously refunded my money on this item.

Positive - it heats water. Negative - there's no insulation so the exterior gets very hot. When pouring, the upper part of the handle gets hot. There is a seam in the bottom which will probably rot out and there is a lip around the top of the inside which prevents all of the water to be removed. I ordered another kettle from a different manufacturer.

Bought in October 2017 - today is broken.Rusted inside after a month.Rough finish.Do not buy.

Worked from Oct. 8 until Dec. 12 and then stopped working. No warning, just one morning we put the water in as usual and no light turned on. Double checked the outlet, tried another outlet, nothing.

This is Tea kettle I bought for my mom she picked it. She said it stopped working after 2 weeks. We disputed and never got a refund.My mom doesn’t trust amazon now because of this so I have to give this review sorry.

It’s a very nice electric cordless kettle , works great. I took 1 star off as the stainless steel is loosing its brilliance already. Compared to the rest of my stainless steel appliances that are bright & shiny as the day they were bought. I’m not really complaining as nobody else would probably ever notice that. It arrived quickly as expected and works great 👍 Also has a nice sleek modern style to it.

Bought this kettle looking at positive reviews and I must say it's just a waste of money. Look wise it looks great with all steel body inside without water touching any plastic, but it lasted only for a month.What you pay is what you get, less price less quality. I strongly recommend going for a better brand than buying this cheap product which lasts for short time and you end up buying another one in no time.

This kettle worked fine while it worked, but then it just stopped working. Support for the product closed after 3 months and there is no return policy. Better to buy locally so you can return it when it breaks, even if it costs a few dollars more. I can't believe this didn't even last a year!

This Kettle works fine at the beginning, just have the plastic smell. But it stopped working for no reason after 2 months

Broke in a month. No reset button if water happens to drip on the plate where it connects to the wall socket. So I guess that is what happened. Can't bother returning etc....
