Our Generation Doll by Battat- Raphael 18" Regular Non-Posable Fashion Boy Doll- for Age 3 Years & Up

My son has been wanting a doll like his sister's for a long time, but the only one I've seen is the expensive one from American Girl. He's very happy with him - he insisted on naming him Bruce. Out of the box, he has gel in his hair for packing purposes. I used a spritz of detangling spray and combed it out, so now his hair is soft and easy to comb. The hair is a bit long - doesn't look like the image, but I figured we'll just do an in-house haircut and trim it short. All-in-all, very nice quality doll. I really wish there were more boy dolls. My son and daughter are so happy that they have dolls that can play together and go on adventures. Plus, they're nice for snuggling.

Little Hans needed a little help. He arrived with his hair glued down. I think this was an attempt to hide the hack job on his hair. I washed the glue out with dish soap, blow dried and trimmed about a quarter inch followed by a little leave in conditioner. His hair is beautiful and he is very well made. His hair is light and moveable now. Soo worth the price and my son loves his new little brother. Great value for your money.

I read the reviews and decided to get this anyway, since my son suddenly wanted a doll after a playmate received one. This doll was one fifth the cost. We took the advice on another review and washed the hair with dish soap, and I gave the hair a trim. I have never cut hair before, and still we are happy with it, especially for the cost. My child likes the clothes, which needed to be freed from little strings keeping everything in place. The doll comes in very secure packaging, including the hair, which is glued down. The pictures are after beauty parlor.

I bought this doll because my girls keep wanting a boy doll to play with and I hadn’t been able to find one. I opened it up but it was a GIRL!!!! I would have returned it but my daughters saw it and loved the girl doll. The doll we received was of course adorable and well loved which is why I gave three stars, but it was not what I ordered at all and now have another girl doll and still have to find a boy doll! I’m afraid to order t again on the chance it’s another girl doll and our collection will grow without any boys!! Had my children not seen it (or I was able to say no to their overly enthusiastic faces), I would have returned it. By the way, I have 3 daughters and my husband joked that even when we PAY for a boy baby we still get a girl! 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣🤣🤣 oh well.

I should have trusted the review talking about the hair. This dolls hair does not look at all like the picture. I am so disappointed. Since it was a Christmas gift for my son when it came we stored it away. When I looked at it yesterday it is too late to return before Christmas. The front of the hair is much longer than pictures and feels like it has glue in it to make it stiff. Back is long. Honestly looks like they took a girl doll and manipulated the hair. So disappointed! See picture of the image on the box compared to the actual doll!

Purchased this for my mom so her American Girl dolls had a man. Her and her sisters who are all retired have started making clothing for them. Fits in all patterns they have made.

This wasn't a hit. Unless you consider a doll w/ a butt hanging out all the time and the kids laughing at it a hit. LOL. The hair is super hard. Can't even really play with it. We tried brushing it - nothing worked.

This boys hair is awful, too long and stiff. My daughter was certain it was a girl. Not worth the money. I would return, but it came from Santa.
