Perfect for lots of the
Works perfect and doesn't leave residue behind. Easy to see if they have been removed, and the numbers make it even easier to track. Great for nosey roommates.

Yellow
Very hard to see the "Void" on these yellow , small stickers. I like that you can date and sign them. Left residue on the sample tape on the envelope they came in. Hmmm.

Do Exactly What They Promise to Do. Great for Internal Tracking, But Not Really for Mailing
Pros: Decent size; sequentially numbered; space to write date and signature; sticks well; very visible tamper evidence. Con: leaves no marks behind, so if the label is completely removed, cannot tell it was ever there. I've had some shipments that I sent out arrive with missing things or even a completely different item in the box, so I started using tamper evident seals to make sure my boxes are delivered the way I packed them. This has worked out great so far--not a single package has been opened and switched around since I began adding them to my packages. Those stickers, however, left visible "void" marks if the label was lifted up, letting you know the box had been opened. These labels peel away clean, so anyone along the mail route who wants to interfere with the box only need remove the entire sticker to get away with it. I do like the stamped numbers on each label to keep track of stuff, and the ability to sign and date each label is great too. You need to keep a record of what has a label, which number label, etc, for these to be effective, plus you would need proof, such as a photo, if the label is gone. That is an extra step I don't want to deal with for my bulk mailings. For things like lab jars, or keeping the kids out of the cookies, these are perfect.

Not rated for heavy humidity :/
Great product, but not the best of you have relative humidity over 50% often during times/locations of usage.

Really good, “No Residue” tamper-evident seals
Being in law enforcement for more than 30 years, I’ve seen many types of tamper-evident seals and tape to secure evidence. These seals are just the ticket for that purpose, and more. When I put a tamper-evident seal on something, I want to make sure it can’t be removed and simply replaced with another similar tape or seal. In the old days, we'd just sign or initial the tape. But these are sequentially numbered with a corresponding barcode, AND they can be written on with a permanent marker, for the old-schoolers. These leave zero residue, which can be a pro or a con, depending on your use. If you want to re-seal the same evidence bag after it’s been opened by an authorized person, it becomes a mess to see “void / opened” residue all over a bag or package. Likewise, you wouldn’t want a mess on a switch or other actual product. But with these, you just pull the old one off, do your thing, then re-seal with another one. Document the new number, and you’re done. No mess. The trouble with that (if you’re sending a package) is that unless the recipient knows that there is (or was) a tamper-evident label, with a particular number, they’d never know one was removed. So these are especially good if you want to seal and re-seal something many times. For example a safe door, an evidence package, or some container that you just want to keep your roommates out of. The stickiness of these labels is good, but whenever possible, I’ll hit whatever it is that I’m sealing with an alcohol prep pad, just to help ensure the best adhesion. For example, hotel and cruise ship safes are one thing I’ll use these on (I never trust them), and prep pads are small and super cheap additional insurance that these will stick well. If they’re not stuck well, they won’t show the “void” when removed. I haven’t fully tested them against heat, cold, or steam, but when I tried them on my safe at room temperature, they worked flawlessly. If I find a situation where they come off without showing the “void”, I’ll come back and edit this review. Oh, and if you want the type that DO leave residue, this company makes those, too. Hope this helps.

I purchased these to use on our hotel room safe. They left no residue which was a concern I had.

I bought these specifically because I didn’t want them to leave any residue and they absolutely did that. However, they also failed to adhere fully to a variety of different surfaces, including steel, aluminium and even painted wood. They would simply peel right off with no visible damage. Worked fine on cardboard and paper though.
