The hardest part of the installation was trimming the end of the cover with a razor so it looked uniform. You can add a little dish soap to the wires outer insulation before you squeeze the cover on if you're having trouble. The istallation was simple and the screws did not strip like other reviewers stated. Use good judgement and dont crank down on them. The original marinco cord had #10 wire which fit the lugs easily with room to spare. The cover can go too far preventing twist locking but if you're mindful when installing the cover it will be fine. Just pull it over the plug til it pops over the front.Overall it was simple and took no more than 5 minutes - start to finish. Plugs in snug even before twisting and I'm pretty happy with it. Hopefully my boat won't catch fire, again.

It fits the Furrion F30INR-PS perfectly. The back of the plug is trimmable to fit your cord perfectly. However, the wiring connections are extremely tight for stranded 10gauge wire. Also, the screw connections strip in the connectors.

I bought a new RV which had a Connteck power inlet. Each mfg'ers of the cords seem to have a slightly different thread size, which makes it somewhat difficult to securely screw on the electrical cords. Since the treads are plastic they can be cross threaded and result in a less than tight and waterproof connection.

For a country using the USA standard house wiring color code: the black wire connects to the brass color screw, white to silver color and ground to green. This plug had the silver and brass screws reversed which ended up putting 110V on all metal surfaces on my boat. Thank God I had a reverse polarity alarm which went off before someone was killed!!!!

Came before we headed back to the boat for the weekend and was pretty straight forward installation. Arc burned the end of the original cord set about 20 years old, so this one saved me the cost of a complete replacement.

Do not try this with your Marinco Marine Outlet . It connects but it is loose. Tighten the ring and the connection is still loose, so it shorts.
