This little guy works like a champ! Very easy to assemble and use. Great deal for the money if you have small flower beds that need cultivating. And lightweight. I highly recommend!

I bought this and within the 1st month, the battery would no longer charge. Sent an email to the seller's warranty department (American Lawn mower Company) explaining the issue and 1 week later without talking to anybody other than an email response saying the battery was being replaced the next day. The tiller works well, but well rooted crabgrass will stop the tines from spinning. Due to the closeness of the tines, every once in a while, I have to stop and remove grass and weeds that have wrapped around the shaft between the tines. Would not want to use this on untilled ground. It is ideal for previously tilled ground and keeping weeds at bay. I use it in my flower beds and garden. Easier than using a hoe or shovel. It tends to pile up the dirt when using it so expect to have to level the dirt with your foot or a rake when finished.

Its a battery tiller. Grew up with big tillers for a big garden. This ain't it. However, my wife have a few raised beds 4' x 8' and this worked great on those. Beats having to hoe or use a heavy gas powered tiller. With a little work was able to till down 6 plus inches and removed a lot of Bermuda grass before growing season. Just got to let it do the work. Had it for two years now and it and the battery are still running strong.

I have a park district garden plot. They roughly till it early but still too rough to plant. Unless I rent a truck to transport a gas rental, I have to use a shovel and battle the weeds. It doesn’t go as deep as the big ones but it does the job. Assembly was easy and storage is easy. (No garage). Charging is fast .

It works great in soft loamy soil. A single root with clog up the tines and require cleaning of the sharp tines which is oftenif you have ever planted anything where you are tilling. Be careful the tines are sharp after the first use.
