What is the use of a phone that you can't take calls on?!
I have had Nokia phones for years and don't want a smart phone - I am happy with a lap top - and other people with smart phones in case of emergency! I had to get this phone to get 4G use and give up a very old Nokia phone that took really good pictures, had predictive text and did exactly what I wanted my phone to do. This one basically doesn't do much at all! The screen colours are awful to read even with brightness and contrast adapted. Texting takes forever (and if you pause for a second or two the phone locks again!) and I can only do it in the 'right light' due to glare and lack of contrast (ie wandering around in the park looking for shade to read my phone!) And now I find that I can't receive calls because of the appalling 'background noise' that as someone else has said sounds like the caller is underwater! I thought it was a poor signal but apparently it's just the phone! And it cost over £60 for the privilege! I am going to have to investigate Punkt despite the cost.

Works ok.
Works well once I got used to it. It is much different from my old 3310 model. I only changed because the old one is 3G and will be discontinued soon.

Great non smart phone
Great phone to detox from life online, constantly checking social media and emails is not an option with this phone, so great for weekends to disconnect and read a book!

Battery life is thoroughly disappointing
Been using it for three days and one thing that is majorly disappointing is the battery life. Without even using much of the phone, it runs out very quickly. Not sure that its just my phone or others have had this issue but that 27 days on standby seems like an outrageous claim.Functionality wise, its very basic by today's standard and that is not a bad thing depending on why you bought it. I have moved away from my smartphone so for me, I am happy that internet is hardly accessible via the browser (typing is a chore and it is slow!) and no youtube or any other app to keep you distracted. I think other than making 1-2 calls in a day, I have not looked at my phone in one day at all which is a blessing.Edit: Incoming calls have a crackly distorted sound always which requires a recall from your side. Not sure what that is about. Its just I want this phone to do the basics right and it does not.

Not great quality
If like me you wanted a music player phone weigh good battery life then you’ll be disappointed at the sound quality, the built in mp3 player on this 8210 4G isn’t powerful, it sounds tinny and poor quality despite loading 256kbps mp3 files on it and using monitor headphones. I had high hopes for this phone but I just don’t think the quality is there. I also tried with ear buds and the sounds even worse. For calls or texts it’s good however powering the phone on is temperamental, I have to press the power button 5 or more times for it to power on. Is it worth £65, definitely not given the quality and cheap plasticky feel or the device. I owned the original 8210 and this doesn’t hold a candle to it the original was far better but getting new batteries for those was not easy. It’s a shame because I know Nokia can do better especially for this price point.
