Incredible deal for an excellent blaster!
This blaster was $129 when it was released, and it was a monster contender at the time, offering a primary flywheel blaster platform that is ready for a lipo right out of the box-- but even with AA batteries, it consistently shoots 130+ fps. For $30 currently, this is the absolute best flywheel blaster on the market for the money. However, there are a few quirks to beware.Firstly, there is a design issue with the pusher that causes it to occasionally grab a dart and pull it backwards out of the magazine, causing a feed jam and rec trigger jam. In order to clear it you have to drop the mag. This is a bigger problem with shorts than with standard darts. Luckily, Out of Darts sells a small piece that sticks onto your short dart magazine adapter that resolves this for just a few bucks.Secondly, there is an issue with the pusher rail wherein some mags will squeeze the rails enough for the pusher to get stuck forward, causing a trigger jam. This is easily fixed with no extra parts by clipping one of the rails flush to the gearbox. All it takes is a pair of nippers and a few minutes. Check out the YouTube videos on how to do this. With those problems easily resolved, this blaster really only has one problem-- its rate of fire. Stock, with AA, this blaster gets an abysmal 2 rps. With a lipo it bumps to 3-4 rps, but even that is borderline unusable. But thankfully, this blaster is select-fire, and it runs rock solid in semi auto, so it will fire reliably as fast as your finger can move in semi auto. Also, the blaster has a big secret-- underneath the 8 AA battery tray is an XT60 connection already installed, and all the wiring is beefy enough out of the box for a lipo, with zero modification (unless you use a few specific skinny batteries, you'll probably need an extended battery door). This is the first blaster to do this off the shelf. It's crazy that you can go to Target or whatever and buy a blaster capable of this. For performance, the blaster feeds as reliably as your mags after addressing the above issues, and generally shoots around the 150ish fps mark, depending on your darts and battery setup. I had heard other nerfers say it's inaccurate-- but that has not been my experience. Although I don't have a ton of experience with flywheel blasters, I will say anecdotally that this is the most accurate flywheeler I've ever fired, and that it was outperforming every other stock flywheeler on my local field by a longshot (no pun intended).Don't be put off by the ROF-- if you want a higher output, there are mods, but I don't think you can find a better platform for $30. With just a couple tweaks, this thing dominates in a variety of game styles. If you are new to nerf or if you just want a new blaster to mess with, I can't stress enough that the Mk3 is an absolute steal at this price! Get it while you can!

For the $$$ it beats Nerf
Full auto and semi auto modes with a flip of a switch. Way better than the Nerf counterparts and has some potential for those who like to modify their blasters. Amazed how well this blaster performs with regular AA batteries but you can use 3s lipos that have XT60 connectors. I bought mine at $30! Cheaper or equal to low performance Nerf and the Dartzone blaster has more options.

This is a dagger in the heart of nerf!
Goodbye nerf. Hello dartzone. This thing hurts! It's very accurate and great quality too. Affordable as well. Nerf would want 400 dollars for a gun of this caliber. Selectable semi or full automatic . I'd buy more! Never buying nerf again as long as this company is around.

trigger & flywheel stop working after few weeks of use
With all the nerf blaster sale going on for Black Friday, purchased this one. After few uses and less than few weeks, the trigger & flywheel stopped working intermittently under normal use for at home target practice.Received the unit on November 2, but ordered 2 weeks prior, which did not qualify for amazon holiday return. It seemed it was all crafted to dump a load of defective blasters to the market. If others have the same issue, please post your review.I've reached out the Dartzone for feedback to remedy this issue since it is out of amazon return window and will post a follow up.Quite disappointed at Dart Zone. Never had issue with the 'pro' version from other vendors.

Great Blaster, Fatal Flaw
The media could not be loaded. This is an excellent blaster for what it is: select-fire, full-length + half-length compatible, and very awesome design! 150 FPS is nothing to scoff at, compared to other off-the-shelf blasters in the market. Got this on sale during Christmas, which was 29.99 at the time (which is a more than fair price). Very fun and nearly practical blaster indeed. Only one major flaws though... the rev trigger WILL die after some time, due to having a cheap switch. If you know how to modify blasters or have good soldering skills, just buy a replacement cherry switch and you're good for life. Otherwise, buyer beware. You can also send the blaster into dart zone and they might replace the switch for you, but I would not hold my breath. Also, full-auto is sluggish (like 3 darts a second). I bought a EZE MechaROF+ kit to really upgrade the firerate, as seen in the video. Again, great blaster, but definitely needs TLC.

Amazing value for a powerful blaster
I bought one of these when they first came out for $130 and felt that it was worth the price. With the price drop now, the value is just simply amAzing! These blaster shoot upwards of 150 fps and are not for little kids. Ages of at least 12 and preferably 14. Works with 8 standard AA batteries and converts to 3s lipo using an XT60 connector by removing one Philips head screw in the battery tray.

Holy Cow
Please listen to the warning 14+ years of age. This blaster is pumping out darts with power.I had my wife shot me from 2ft away. They hit hard and sting. Little kids will cry getting hit by these darts.Assembly is easy.I really like dartzones ‘pro darts’. They are sturdy and fly really well.If you are looking for a blaster to bring the pain and do some next level foam flinging, it’s Dartzone or nothing.

Great Blaster for a Great Price!
Functions amazing with both full and half length darts. Full auto is a bit finicky with full lengths, but effective none the less. The inclusion of the XT-60 connector under the battery tray is so perfect! Being able to put a rechargeable battery in out of the box is so convient apposed to going through the hassle of rewiring.
