Captain Pug (The Adventures of Pug)

Adorable story of a pugs adventure! My 2nd graders love these books! I ordered all her books and they are never on the shelf in my classroom because they are always in my kids hands. High recommend!!

My 4-year-old son and I are having so much fun reading these books. This is his first exposure to a chapter book and he can't get enough. We've read each one at least 3-4 times already!

I bought this as a gift and the recipient loved it. A 12 year old boy.

Perfect for my pug obsessed first grader.

This is a charming tale of a little pug who goes on a big adventure. Pug and his owner, Lady Miranda, go to a birthday party at a lake, but wind up getting separated. Pug must battle his fear of water to be reunited with his beloved owner. I think children will relate to Pug's struggle (most have been separated from parents at one point or another, and many have had to face a similar fear). The illustrations are humorous and follow the story perfectly. I'm glad to have this as an addition to my classroom library.*I received an ARC from the publisher for free in exchange for an honest review.

My 4 year old daughter and I read this story together at bedtime for couple of nights. We enjoyed the adventures of pug, and looking forward to read more in this series

A very cute and funny book bought for my 31 year old partner as a 'daddy day' gift from our male pug. We have read it to my 6 year old niece, changing the lead girls names to hers about 20 times now. She loves the illustrations and the story as much as we do.This book is made even better because our pug is actually called Captain Waldo.Looking forward to more Laura James pug related books.

My pug-daft 7 year old loved it and said it was very funny. although story was shorter than expected. Still hokd value and will be buying more in the future!
