Saw a version of this product advertised in a reputable national magazine. I was intrigued by the concept. The claims made by the manufacturer of the product seemed reasonable to me. However, the product that I saw advertised was priced at around $400----pretty hefty price. I would never have considered purchasing the product at such an over-inflated cost. As usual, Amazon.com had several similar products---most priced at around $200.00. Since I have constant back, knee and leg pain, which is extremely unpleasant as well as depressing, I was very open to trying out the "Chi-Energizer." Have had the product for over three months. Can't sing the praises of this machine enough! If you wake up in the morning, stiff and feeling terrible because your back and your knees are throbbing with pain, you can get rid of the pain and the stiffness by spending 15 minutes first thing in the morning on the "Chi-Energizer." Fifteen minutes on this machine will loosen the leg muscles and joints and get the blood flowing into your legs. It is truly amazing the difference the machine makes in how your legs, back and knees feel. The machine has an automatic shut-off timer at 15 minutes. However, if I have the time in the morning, I turn the machine back on and go another 15 minutes for a total of 30 minutes. The soft, gentle, swaying movements are unbelievably relaxing and soothing. Afterwards your legs feel tingly and light. It's an indescribably wonderful feeling and a great way to start your day! There have been several reviewers who have complained that the foot rests on this machine aren`t adequately padded and that the foots rests are so uncomfortable that they can`s use the machine. These reviewers may simply have extra sensitive feet and ankles. One of the natural changes, which occur as we age, is that we start losing layers of fat around our ankles and especially on the heels of our feet. This natural loss of fat can cause a lot of pain. The lost fat provided a nice protecting padding to our ankles and the heels. However, for a person with normal feet and ankles who do have sensitive ankles and feet, the foot rests are well padded and more than adequate. If for some reason, the foot rests on the machine are uncomfortable, an easy solution is to take a lightweight bath towel, fold it up and place it over the foot rests. This should provide more than enough padding. If back, knee or leg problems are causing considerable pain, this is the product for you! On the days when I get too busy and don't use my Chi Energizer, I can really tell a difference in how my back, knees and legs feel. Highly recommend! Very pleased with the Chi Energizer. Wouldn't be without it.

22 years ago I worked in a holistic family health practice and had my first experience with using one of these machines. I loved it, used it whenever I could at work and dreamed of one day having one of my own. Back then, they weren't as easy to find and until now they were a bit much for me to spend but as they are now fsa and hsa approved, I ordered one immediately! It shipped the next day, arrived well-packed and is even more sturdy and well-built than the one I used all those years ago. I've been using it twice per day, 15-minute sessions each time, ever since it arrived. I find it deeply relaxing, to the extent that it has helped me with a recent insomnia issue. I also noticed a marked increase in physical output, if you know what I mean, as has my husband. It seems to aid inflammation, flush excess fluid and eases any backache I'm having within moments. I'm working to heal from SIBO and this offers great comfort and honestly seems to have helped with my digestion in general already. Some folks have mentioned their ankles being uncomfortable and I have had that issue as well. I found two ways to combat that; one or two pair of extra thick socks and even used a very thin pillow on top and rested my ankles on that, and it worked well either way. Oddly, some days I feel zero ankle irritation, some days I feel it enough to use one of the aforementioned methods. It's also worth noting that you will experience different sensations and benefits depending upon how your arms are during the session. Try them at your sides, out like a cross and over your head (if that's comfortable). You'll notice a subtle but definite shift in how the movement traverses your body and each position offers unique benefits, so I usually do all three during each session. Don't do it too close to a meal or snack, and be sure to hydrate well afterwards. Start with the slowest setting and see how you do. Honestly, I've never gone above a few settings above that and don't really see the need. Some folks mentioned their knees hurting. Be sure you are positioned correctly, take it slow and certainly use a pillow beneath your knees if need be. My husband has knees which tend towards aching but he hasn't experienced any discomfort using this. Between this little gem, our far-infrared heating pad, TDP lamp and Hypervolt massager we have quite the home wellness setup now and I'm so grateful for that.

This machine is very good for the lymphatic system. It helps the lymphatic system to circulate and do the difficult job of getting rid of impurities and illness, any junk that should NOT be in our bodies, even cancer cells. The only way the system can do its job, is for you to move, a lot. If you are not able to move a lot, cause some days, I can’t motivate myself to get going because of chronic pain. I would highly recommend this type of machine. It has automatic shut off after fifteen minutes or so. It can be set to different speeds of movement. I would not recommend starting on a fast speed at first. I took it slow for the first few weeks. I now normally switch up between slow starting and speed up after a few minutes, then slow down again. I do this throughout the fifteen minutes. Sometimes I turn it on again after it has automatically stopped. It’s a marathon, not a race. Your body has to adjust to activity it hasn’t done before. I am not making any medical claims here. I am a certified reflexologist. Took my 200 hours of education. I worked on and documented my test subjects, I called them, and they didn’t mind at all. They would come back to me and ask if I needed more hours. I took the 2 hour test, plus worked on my mentor and test giver, to earn the certification. I studied and learned human anatomy and pathology. It was a ‘definite eye opener’, as to how our bodies work. So yes I recommend this machine or any like it. Hope this helps someone have a better life.

This is an expertly-crafted machine that does what it says. Moves smoothly and quietly, zero assembly required but a little bit on the heavy side. After about 8-10 mins, the ankle cradles began slightly digging into my lower calves/ankles and causing mild irritation and itchiness. The ankle cradles are fairly good-sized, however, I have CVI so my lower limbs are swollen. I’m going to try a barrier cream and see if that helps with the friction. Otherwise, a good investment for chronic leg issues, spine alignment, swelling, poor circulation, joint pain, relaxation, light aerobic exercise and body detox. Drink water before and after and stay laying down for 5 minutes after machine has stopped.

I am always on the look out for the tools that will bring a better life style for someone with fibromyalgia. Love this gadget. Too much movement on anything will cause discomfort. I have complete control with the various speeds provided. I have only had the machine for a week but if weight loss happens, as suggest, then a real bonus with a big Woohoo.
