Super bright great for alerting drivers of your presence

As a longtime night rider, my bike lights are one of my most important tools. Riding nearly 2 hours a night, I’ve purchased and tried many LED lights most of which will generally be returned after my very first night of riding.For 3 months I’ve been using the Victagen Bike Lights 8000 Lumen Bike Lights with its 3 Cree LEDs. It definately has what it takes and is one of my keepers. To be clear, the Victagen in no way can output 8000 lumen but, when I compare them to my NiteRider Lumina OLED 1200 Boost Headlight, they’re brighter, offer a much wider band of light and the battery lasts longer while costing less than half.WHAT I LIKE- Battery life - when using the center LED at medium-high will last close to 6 hours- The on-off buttons are well located right over the handlebar so the mount won’t spin on the handlebar when depressing buttons- Brightness is excellent. When riding a trail at night, turning on the center and 2 sides LEDs will cover 180 degrees of lighting in front and to to the sides- Brightness is such that I can mostly use the center brighter, lighter LED rarely needing the 2 side LED simultaneously, only on trails- The Victagen never gets hot- Lateral light slits which offer a an unobtrusive side light for better rider safety and visibility- Very nicely built, solid, rugged aluminum housing with no water intrusionWHAT I DON’T LIKE- Charging it is verrrrry slowwww, really slow and will take over 4 hours to go from 20% to 100%- The 2 wide beam side light LEDs are not the same temperature color as the tvery bright white center light- It’s a bit heavy at close to 200g/ just under 7 oz- The quick-release mount is very tight and even after more than 3 months of use, it’s still a hard to pull the LED off its mount- The on-off buttons can be a bit difficult to operate requiring to go thru the button press cycle again to get the right lights turned on or off

This light is EXCELLENT, and the customer service is 5-star. I often bike when it's dark outside, and this light is the strongest I have found. The battery lasts for hours of riding, and I appreciate the battery light so I know when to charge. The customer service is top-notch - extremely responsive and helpful.

This is one of the best lights I've ever purchased I wanted to ride in the evening when it's a lot cooler in the summer because it gets so hot during the day and the evenings are so nice. So I went for it it seemed a little bit expensive at first but then when I got it I realized the value it's almost like having a motorcycle light on your bike. It is super bright which yes OK but I like the wide angle because it lights up the street and sometimes I ride on the sidewalk and it lights up quite a lot of the side. It almost looks like it's late afternoon when you turn this baby on. It has an indicator light so it tells you how much charge is still left. Takes a while to charge but also stays on for quite a while depending on the brightness settings you have. I think it's well worth the money. I had a cheap Schwinn bicycle light and it was a joke I never really rode at night because it was like a candle on my bicycle I never used it at night. Only if it was like early evening. Now I use this anytime during the evening and it works great. Hope this helps but you have to make your own choices a lot of bike lights are out there so do your research. Also, use caution and keep your eyes open when you are riding at night. remember drivers aren't looking for bicycle riders at night no matter how much light you have on your bike.
