Yes it is ground fine for espresso, not super fine for Turkish coffee.

It definitely seemed like it to me. At least, we've had no complaints at all. We use a stove-top "moka" and the espresso comes out very well.

It depends on the strength of the coffee you would drink plain. The Neapolitan Espresso roast is on the stronger side, a little bitter but smooth all the same. If you ar more into milk chocolate, them I would go for the jumbo gold, however if you like dark chocolate The Neapolitan is the way to go. This is just my opinion, as I do not drink anything except a little sugar in my espresso, and I enjoy the bitterness of both the Neapolitan and dark chocolate.. a lot of my choices are based on differences in preparation as well....
