Perhaps this was a returned item originally but block was dropped and one corner is shmooshed. The front edge of the block also has defects as well as a mark on the first page. It must have been dropped before packing as it was very well-packed. Shmooshiness is disappointing considering the cost of $44.00. I do love the way watercolor lays down on this, but I won't buy again online.

I really like this watercolor paper with one exception the paper comes off the block almost a little too easy. Not a huge problem though.
