High Quality - Fully Assembled
This is the product that professional's purchase. Fully assembled with a bonus shelf for equipment that is made without rack ears or rack mount provisions. High quality rack. Includes all the screws and parts you need to mount your equipment. Why try saving just a few less dollars and then endure the headaches of buying cheap junk that you will spend hours trying to assemble? Trust me - it is not worth it buying that other junk. Go with a high-quality product like these StarTech racks AAA++++.

Works great, sturdy enough for my purpose.
Mounted high on a wall that houses my router and phone hub. Works great, very sturdy. Good build quality for the price. IT company wanted to charge me $600 for a very similar item.

Okay Cabinet
I can't fully knock the cabinet as I bought it knowing what it is. I needed a wall cabinet with an open back to feed the cables through rather than feeding them through the top or bottom. I would have preferred a cabinet with this feature as well as one with removeable sides to allow access to the rear of a patch panel or equipment plugs. I was in a hurry and selected this model. It did the job.My one gripe is this is a 6u cabinet, you may lose the first the top u if you are using it for a device such as a switch, the fan protrudes far enough into the cabinet where it will touch the device. this will block air flow and possibly cause a vibrating noise. As you can see in the picture I moved the network switch down 1u, yes I could have installed the patch panel at the top but I wanted to ensure access to it due to not being able to remove the sides.Due to the limited access to the rear of a patch panel I suggest you do as I did, use keystone insert patch panels but be sure to leave yourself room to reach under or over to insert it, again due ot no access from the sides via a removeable panel.

Why NOT buy TrippLite?
I had TrippLite 6U and need upgrade to 9U for home lab server. I checked TrippLite 9U and Star Tech 9U but the price is big different. I bought the Star Tech and look at my old TrippLite mounting/look identical. I was glad I bought the Star Tech.

Quality Rack
I have ordered NavePoint and Sysrack products in the past, as well as Middle Atlantic and StarTech products... This rack is by far on top of the list of quality racks. It comes ASSEMBLED and no 30+ minutes spent putting it together. Also included was a QUALITY 10" rack shelf, worth $30+. For the $40-50 additional cost, it was well worth it for the time saved putting a knocked down product together and satisfaction of giving the customer a sturdy piece of equipment. Just my 2 cents :-)
