I needed some proper masonry tools to build my wood fireplace hearth and face wall, and this set contains way more than I needed. I thought I was only going to use just some of the tools but once I started the job, I found that I actually got to use most of them (actually all but one of the smaller trowels). Quality is good and price is more than reasonable. I did have to take my fine sander and go over their surfaces to smooth the course brushed metal pattern a bit and over the edges to take out the sharp burr, nut that's just because I am picky i guess, otherwise the tools are good to go as they come.

Great set of trowels at equally great price. Basically for the price of 3 you get the whole range. Well made, very sturdy as you would expect from Goldblatt. Consistent producer of handtools from my experience. Glad amazon carries them!

This is a great set for those home diyers . Feel good in the hand and are easy to work with. They are well made and will last a good long time with care and cleaning. Very pleased with the purchase.

Bought this set as a birthday gift for my dad, who's an experienced 'amateur' mason. I’ve been putting this Goldblatt 6-piece masonry set through its paces, and overall it’s a solid 4-star kit. The tools feel sturdy, well-balanced, and comfortable in hand, especially for longer days. The brick trowel has a good weight to it, and the pointing trowels are sharp enough to get clean, tight joints without fighting the tool. The jointer and margin trowel both perform better than expected for the price—great for touch-ups, tight corners, and detail work. Everything comes ready to use right out of the box, no weird edges or wobble in the handles. Only reason it’s not a 5-star is the finishing isn’t perfect on a couple pieces—nothing that stops you from working, just minor details that could be a little cleaner. But for the value and performance, this set handles real work without feeling cheap. If you need a dependable, budget-friendly kit to cover all the basics, this one’s worth grabbing.
