Great phono stage
Really glad I took a chance on this to pair with my Fluance RT83. I originally had it paired with a much cheaper phono stage and I really wasn't happy with the sound. I was looking at changing my speakers and amp so this has saved me lots of money! The sound was really lifted and now my records sound fantastic!

what more do you need?
very good phono stage. Everything sounds great, detail, mid range is smooth, bass is tight, what more do you need? Very well made, unbeatable at this price.

Quietest background I've ever heard upto £300
For the price this product is absolutely flawless. There is no muffling or distortion to any part of the audio spectrum. The rumble filter should be left off unless you have speakers on the same cabinet as your record player which I would never advise as all it does is cut the sub bass out to stop the needle skipping from your speakers vibrations. I've personally had Rega, Musical Fidelity, Cambridge and Schiit preamps and they covered the £99-£299 range and I would rank those as follows: 1st: This Fluance Preamp 2nd: Cambridge Audio Alva £299 (If you only have MC then go for this) 3rd: Schiit Mani 2 £170 4th: Musical Fidelity V90-LPS £175 5th: Rega Fono Mini A2D £99 6th The preamp on my Wiim Ultra 7th The preamp on my Klipsch Fives (truly awful) Kit used: Flurance RT-85 with Ortofon Blue MM > Preamps > Douk RCA 4 Way Selector > Wiim Ultra > Usb C to Usb B input on Hifiman EF499 DAC > RCA Out > Klipsch Fives McLaren. Of course without going A2D using a DAC your mileage may vary. My system is very much digital and I'm incorporating the vinyl in a way convenient to the modern world.

Great amp don't pay for next day you won't get it and will waste your money
Lovely product great sound quality nice and small so doesn't take up to much room. Annoyingly though and i can't find anything in the description it does not come with a uk plug so had to buy a travel adapter. Also was offered next day delivery which i paid an extra £12 and ended up taking nearly a week to arrive which was longer than the free post delivery time

Excellent
Made a massive sound difference from the cheap £20 pre amp i was using, way better stereo separation and clear, worth the price, (technics turntable into a Bose lifetyle theatre system)

Performs way above it's price.
I bought this to use with a different turntable to avoid swapping cables. An Amazon Warehouse item listed as "Used, like new." It was obvious it had been out of the box but it is in pristine condition. There's a manual and 24v power supply included. I don't know why some reviewers complain about the lack of cables. I don't know of any phono amplifier where they are supplied. I do have a phono amp which cost 8x this and comparing them both there's not much in it re sound and build quality. The PA10 sticks faithfully to RIAA equalisation which is good. I don't see the point of the 20Hz filter, I don't use it. The "keep it simple" principle applies here. It's just a small black ash finish box and a tiny unobtrusive l.e.d. on the front to indicate power on. Concentrate on the sound and not any fancy gimmicks. There's barely visible Fluance branding on the plain front. Easy set up. No on/off switch/button which, in my opinion isn't necessary. Electronics should ideally be left powered on. Continuous off/on is not good for components. It's a recommendation from me if a simple but effective amplifier is needed to boost that output from the cartridge, moving magnet only with this.
