The Korg Volca FM, specifically this version 2 model, is an absolute powerhouse. Capable of loading sysex files from the iconic Yamaha DX7, you can coax any kind of sound out of the Volca FM that you can imagine. The 16 step sequencer is reliable. The only criticism I could have is the speaker and the touchpad are both just okay, but given that's pretty much standard for this type of synth, it's impossible to really fault the Volca FM for it. Controlling it with an external MIDI controller really opens up the tones. I find that it really shines with high, shimmery tones. If you're not sure which Volca to get, but you want something flexible and absolutely usable in performance settings, the FM is the way to go.

Absolut Hammer was der Zwerg kann. Und das ganze zu einem Preis, der mich immer wieder umhaut. Technik mit den Möglichkeiten war vor 30 Jahren noch undenkbar oder für den Hobbymusiker schlicht unbezahlbar. Den Synthi selber zu beschreiben würde hier jeden Rahmen sprengen. Am besten auf YT etc. Videos anschauen. Fazit: Ich war zuerst skeptisch. Nachdem ich den Volca Sample2 mein eigen nennen durfte, hab ich mich auch an den FM2 gewagt und bin rundum begeistert. Ich finde es gibt nichts besseres oder nur vergleichbares zu dem Preis.

Una piccola scatola magica, meravigliosamente digitale; un'altra applicazione di questa elettronica senza danni o effetti collaterali. Per il principiante, per il professionista, per piccole sessioni creative da soli, o per ensemble più o meno importanti. Mancano le istruzioni in italiano, vi consiglio prima qualche video su internet. Si può usare proficuamente già con la sua piccola tastiera, ancora di più collegandolo con una vera tastiera che abbia l'uscita midi (occorre un apposito cavetto). Per ascoltarlo in un impianto audio, o nello stereo di casa, si usa benissimo l'uscita della cuffia, con un apposito cavetto. Suoni bellissimi, potenzialità straordinarie, funzioni utili e produttive. Il costo è da giocattolo, ma è tutt'altro: se lo avesse avuto Bach.....

Cette version du Volka FM aurait dû être la première version. Il corrige toutes les imbécilités du modèle précédent. Seul ennui, polyphonie inférieure à un DX-7 mais un réel progrès par rapport à l'autre.
