Simple to install and effective
"Really simple to install and not much in the way of programming" – this phrase embodies the essence of user-friendly software and applications that aim to minimize the barriers to entry for users of all skill levels.Installation processes have historically been a significant source of frustration for users. However, the phrase "really simple to install" signifies a shift towards user-centric design. Modern software developers understand the importance of providing straightforward installation procedures that don't require users to be tech-savvy. Often, this involves creating intuitive graphical installers or one-click installation options, streamlining the setup process, and minimizing the need for complex configuration steps. Moreover, the idea of "not much in the way of programming" reflects the desire to create software that doesn't demand extensive coding skills. For many users, programming can be intimidating and a significant barrier to adopting new technology. Developers now focus on creating user interfaces and experiences that are intuitive and user-friendly, reducing the need for users to write code or understand intricate programming concepts. This approach extends to no-code and low-code development platforms, which empower individuals with little or no coding experience to create their applications or automate tasks easily. These platforms offer drag-and-drop interfaces, pre-built components, and simplified scripting, making it possible for almost anyone to create software solutions tailored to their specific needs. In summary, the phrase "really simple to install and not much in the way of programming" underscores the growing trend towards user-centric software development. Developers are increasingly committed to providing hassle-free installation experiences and reducing the programming barriers, ensuring that technology becomes more accessible to a broader audience, regardless of their technical expertise. This user-first approach is pivotal in shaping the digital landscape of today and tomorrow, enabling more people to harness the power of technology for their benefit.

Over preforms all others.
Likes: Ease of use, volume control, many chimes to choose from, and hides away just about anywhere, in any room.Dislikes: does not work during loss of power during a storm.

Unreliable
Easy setup and worked pretty well for about a week. One receiver stopped working completely and is even unresponsive to the onboard buttons. A couple weeks later the other responds to its buttons but not to the transmitters.

Works Very Well
This review is for the Door Chime Bistee which I purchased from Amazon. The item arrived in a couple of days and I installed it the next day and it looks exactly like the item in the ad photos.Installation is super simple and met my expectations.I removed the door chime from its compact box and read briefly through the included instructions.Super easy install. Just plug in the receiver and search the 50 ring tones until you find the one you like. Then place the magnetic sensor on a table in front of you with the two halves together. Then short press the volume button and down on the tone search button at the same time. When you hear the receiver start playing a random tone, separate the magnetic door sensor and you should hear your chosen tone come from the receiver. Then plug your receiver into a desired location and attach the door sensor appropriately to the door of your choice. The door sensor comes with customized cut, double stick tape that is super sticky so be sure to place it correctly the first time. The door sensors just have to be close together and can be placed in a variety of positions as long as the magnetic field is close enough together.I purchased the 2 receiver and 3 sensors option because I have 3 doors. I was going to put one receiver in the living room and one in the bedroom but I can hear one of them all over the house on medium volume. And I really only wanted this for the bedroom. And that's about it.I do recommend this item for door monitoring. Keep in mind, this only works if you are near enough to the receiver to hear the tone and it is not a wifi device.

Great Once It Is Installed
Setup takes some time unless you want a standard "ding dong" for both your front and back doors. I had to go through a lot of rings to get to one I want, then pair the transmitter, and then do that again on each receiver separately. Of course, this does mean that you can set up more receivers, but it makes set-up complicated. Also, the receivers don't repeat (or if they do, the company doesn't say). So all of them have to be within a certain distance of the main. I have a one story, 2,200 SF house, and this was enough for me (I can hear both bells from anywhere but my garage). So overall, I'm really happy with it now that it's set up!

Worked for two years
The door chime worked fine for two years and than stopped detecting the door open from the remote (which appeared to still be functional).

A very good product and easy to install
I put the item where I needed it, put all the sensors on the doors. Followed easy instructions and viola, we have a chime in our house. Our son has autism and at times we were worried that he will take walks when we are least expecting, so this notifies us right away when someone opens the door. They work great and picked the sound, volume, that we like. Saw some reviews on negative about this product, so hopefully our copy doesn't have any of those, just had it for a day and love it. Lets see if we feel the same way few weeks from now, but for now, amazing and easy to use product.

These work great !
Easy to set up and sync together . Very pleased .bought fit my mother. She has care givers coming in 3 times a day . They let themselves in .this alerts her as soon as the door opens and so she isn't startled when they approach her . Love it and she is very happy with this as well . Setup one upstairs in hall and one I'm the living room . Highly recommend.

Not reliable or loud enough
I purchased these quite a while back, so this is a rather late review. I have a young child who is on the autism spectrum, and is an eloper, so I wanted something that would be loud enough to alert me the main floor doors were being opened when I'm on the second floor or in the basement. These were barely loud enough to be heard over the TV on the same floor! They also didn't always chime when the doors were opened. I suppose if you're okay with it only chiming 60% of the time then, volume-wise they'd be adequate for a small bachelor style apartment, but certainly not for anything larger, or with seperate rooms. Definitely not recommended if wanting to use for purpose similar to my own.

Door Chime
Bought this product about a year ago and for some reason the chime stopped working. I contacted the manufacturer and their response time was impeccable and they sent me a brand new product within a week. Great customer service!

Quick & easy install
Love how easy these are to set up, it takes longer to get the parts out of the box and get the plastic wrappers off then it does to set them upFind the closest electrical plug to the door you want the chime located, temporary plug in the doorbell/chime and turn up the volume, set the chime you want to hear from arch time that door opens and then push and hold the program button on the chime for a few seconds, then simply pull the two chime door sensor parts away from each other and the chime is programmed, make sure you set the chime song you want to hear before you pair the chime otherwise you will have to re-pairNow unplug the chime and place it in the room you need to hear it and peel off the tape coverings off the door sensors and mount the sensors preferably in one of the top corners of your door, one on the edge of your door & one on the frame of the door making sure that when the door is closed they are very close to each other
