These sticks are perfect for the purpose! We used them to make magic wands. They are lightweight but durable!

Worked well for project
Worked well as expected. Took stain and glue with no trouble. A few pieces had natural imperfections (crooked, bent).

Not the best quality...
Not uniform in length, uneven ends, 1 cracked down the middle, 1 still curvy. I had to sand all of them in order to make them usable. For the price I paid, that's 4-star quality but for the $9 I'm seeing them listed at now, it's a 2-3 star product. I bought 25 12-inch sticks for $5.79, which was the lowest I could find on Amazon at the time. I'm not unhappy, but I won't be re-ordering.

Seller provides quick shipping but handles had splinters.
The sticks arrived quickly but the quality of the handle wasn't good. I had to get sandpaper so they wouldn't cause splinters. I needed them for a project so I didn't have tine to return but I was disappointed with the quality. I also would have preferred they be a little thicker.

It’s All Good!
These are nice! 17inchrs is much shorter than the 22inch 5 gallon sticks offered at the Hardware Stores. Important to realize they are significantly shorter
