This review is for a Premium 12-pack Replacement Water Filter for Breville Expresso Machine. I have a Barista machine that gets used on a daily basis, so it goes to say that we drink a lot of coffee. I have always used filtered water for everything that I do even the shower has a filter so that goes to say that its important to me. Why so important you ask? I’ll try not to get on my soap box and will pick one chemical, Chlorine… Back in the day I tested my water from the faucet to find out it had high levels of chlorine. What’s even worse is if I was pool water you would have had to wait before you went in the pool it was so high and we were drinking it. Since then, only filtered water!These filters are a food-grade Charcoal Water Filter with 0.5-micron small pore size ensures the charcoal provides highly efficient filtration and stays in the filter. Here’s the important part; the filters absorb chlorine, sediment, rust, particles, from the water. What does that mean well that means that the coffee you’re drinking will come out free of garbage and most definitely better tasting. Here’s the kicker these filters are half the price. Premium 12-pack Replacement Water Filter For BrevilleWe use these in the water reservoir of our coffee maker. We have hard water that produces scale if left untreated. The scale can be treated with a vinegar wash but these filters have extended the time between treatments while also giving us a secondary filtering on the water we use to brew our coffee. In our case, we keep one filter in the reservoir, changing it out every month. We prep our coffee machine at night, so the filter has ample time to do its work.

Water filters, although not 100% necessary, will prolong the lifespan of your coffee maker and according to Breville will save time and money in the end with less descaling and cleaning. The water filters that Breville sell on their website are $30 for a six pack. The water filters are supposed to be changed every three months and this maintenance can get pretty costly.The Premium 12 pack filters by Bewafia are an excellent and much more cost friendly alternative. They come individually wrapped and are a perfect fit for the majority of Breville coffee machines. Simply follow Breville's instructions by soaking the filter for five minutes and then rinsing it under water. The filter fits perfectly.If you are like me and like to minimize cleanup and maintenance but do not want to spend the high price for brand-name filters, get these filters by Bewafia at a very good price.

These are a total must have especially if you have hard water. Helps make a wonderful pot/cup of coffee and best part will also extend the life of your coffee pot ☕⭐🤩

Though these were not marketed as a filter for my Keurig coffee maker, the fit and work perfectly! The package arrived in one large back, with each filter individually wrapped in plastic. I ran them through water to clear out any loose charcoal but didn't see any flow out in the one that I used. They look and feel high quality and I would have a hard time distinguishing them from the 'official' ones. Having 12 of them now means I can switch out the filter every month for the next year and always have clean water for my coffee, or if I follow the recommended time fame of every 3 months this package will last years.
