These guides are very sturdy and low profile. Perfect for those of us who prefer not having a guide that protrudes too far into walking areas. The installation is quick and easy, practically intuitive. I imagine these are suitable for a number of applications given their size. A little trick for those who have 1/4 round next to their baseboard (and don't care to notch it) is to place nylon spacers between the back of the bracket and the wall. I used two 1/2" O.D. x 3/8" I.D. spacers per bracket to secure to the wall. No notching is required and it is very stable. Place the bracket next to the 1/4 round and measure the distance from the back of the bracket to the wall. That will be the spacer length you need. They sell spacers in a number of lengths and diameters. Buy the spacer that works best for your application and measurements. You can find them at any local or big-box hardware store, or right here on Amazon. Just make sure you get ones that are suitable for use with bolts/screws. I used one per screw, but stacking is perfectly fine if that's what you need to do to get the desired length. I recommend getting the largest O.D. spacer possible (allowing easy screw installation) for maximum stability. Run the screws up nice and tight but not too tight! It really works well.

Wanted a smaller size guide as I really wanted it not to protrude too far beyond the door itself and this fit the bill perfectly. Very sturdy and made of thick metal so no chance of it bending. Rollers move freely as well. The guide is very well-priced and shipped quickly. My only (minor) gripe is that my door is fairly close to the wall by design and barely clears the trim so I would have liked the inside roller to have a smaller diameter as on my installation it pushes the door slightly out so it is not quite perpendicular and this is with the guide mounted on the wall not on the baseboard. Would certainly buy again

My original set of floor guides were large and clunky. Holding the doors too far from the wall. I found these and they are perfect. Sturdy, comes with several adjustable roller options and included are soft roller cover to muffle noise. Although they operate so smoothly the covers were not really needed. I would highly recommend these floor guides!

Very sturdy and solid piece. The rollers work great, but must use the felt tape on rollers to keep them from marking up the door as it rolls through. The tape that came with it last about a month and started coming off. Bought a new roll of 3/4 inch wide felt tape and replaced it. works great, but might have to replace the tape a few times a year.

Excellent product at an excellent price. I purchased one of these heavy duty roller guides for a barn door in our kitchen. I was so pleased with the quality, durability, and easy installation that I decided to put a barn door in master bedroom and I bought another roller guide.

in my opinion the roller bolts are are too short when used with provided washers, only engaged about 2/3rds of very thin nut, but so far are doing the job. The rollers are quiet and smooth with felt atached however, within a day the felt started to separate from the adhesive strip that binds it to the roller and after a week the felt is continuing to separate and will soon fall off.

This roller floor guide not only works flawlessly, it came packaged great and was on time just like promised. The instructions were clear and easy to read and it went together without a hitch. I was very impressed right from the start when I saw the packaging. That's what I usually gauge a product on and this was impeccable. The angle steel plate is very well built. The rollers performance is excellent. On carpet holding the nuts in place was difficult the first time I installed it. The second time I used a piece of tape to hold them in place. I bought another one because the 90 lb. Pitbull would push through the door. After adding one to the other side he can no longer do that. Excellent product

Not all door setups are the same. But I’m my case this product was perfect. No ugly extra length sticks out. It was hard to find this size, but it was worth it.

Just got this from Amazon and installed, works fine and looks solid keeping the barn door steady and inline, only small problem at screwing in the screw of the bottom hole to the baseboard, you may need special angle driver adapter to drive in the screw straight in.
