These worked well for an Occre kit. They do require some effort but they work, even for thicker planks and tight bends. Very helpful to hold planks while you drive in pins or nails. I use one on each end of a plank, then use a pin driver to secure the planks to the ribs.

More expensive than they should be, but they do work.

Strongly recommend . Its helped tighten up my hull planking . Be careful to not over torque the screws popping out . So far that has been an easy fix for 2 with CA glue ( drop of super glue)

Doesn't come with instructions, some trial and error to find what works best for you. Once you figure that out, you'll find they work well. By the time I finished my project 7 of the 10 were broken, the shaft that screws into the into the wood will separate from the silver part. you can put it back into it but then it won't tighten up enough. Guess I could have used JB Weld or something on it. These were very useful, but they are really overpriced I think they should be closer to $10 to $15

I'm using them with 2 by 5 mm hull planks. Holds planks securely for gluing or when bending to fit the curve of the hull. Had to get two sets because of the size of the project. The clamp is shaped to hold the plank flat against the hull.

Doesn't work on smaller models, it splits the wood and ruins the model.

These are the best planking clamps available IMHO. They could be better, however, if the bars were steel instead of pop metal that bends too much. Terrific idea, as long as the ends do not come off, which happens occasionally.
