These brushes are absolutely doing the Lord’s work for tiny details. I grabbed this Golden Maple 15-piece set for mini painting/model work, and it’s kind of become my go-to squad for anything small, fussy, and easy-to-mess-up. Here’s what stands out: Great range of sizes: You get everything from tiny micro detail tips for eyes, panel lines, and edge highlights all the way up to slightly larger brushes for base coats and shading. It’s nice not having to switch sets mid-project. Fine, sharp points: The tips actually come to a point (and stay that way if you take care of them). Perfect for things like: Gunpla panel edges and small vents Mini faces, eyes, and insignias Tiny armor chips and weathering Comfortable handles: The handles are slim but not flimsy—easy to control for longer sessions so your hand doesn’t cramp while you’re hunched over a shield or 1/144 backpack. Good value: For 15 brushes, the quality vs price is honestly impressive. I don’t feel scared to actually use them the way I sometimes do with super expensive “fancy” brushes. Works with different paints: I’ve used them with acrylics for minis and model kits, and they handle it really well as long as you rinse them promptly and reshape the tips after. If you’re into Gunpla, miniatures, or any kind of detailed hobby painting, this is a super solid, budget-friendly brush set that makes tiny work way easier and way more fun.

I have been painting for over 30 years and do highly detailed paintings in "old masters" style. For years I used a brand of brush that was great; inexpensive but sturdy and worked beautifully. Sadly, all good things must end and all of a sudden can't find decent brushes. Even if you spend some money. Then, one of my students bought these by chance and THANK GOODNESS FOR THAT. We were desperate. Paintings could not be finished or struggled with due to lack of brushes we liked. They were very reasonable, so a good start. Well, what a surprise. They hold the paint very well and move it around too. The flats have a razor sharp edge - something I've been having a problem finding lately. The little round detail brushes are superb They are beautifully made, don't shed hairs, hold the structure well. I just paid $11 per brush for a little 10x from a German maker - they were useless. They offer all kinds of nice products and my only sight disappointment was too many little detail brushes - I needed more flats. Of course, this is geared towards people doing miniature model painting and such, not oil painters So, I understand. I contacted the manufacturer to ask if they'd do a flat package, and they are open to it.

I really can't believe they can sell these brushes so cheaply. I use them for detail stuff since I am so clumsy with larger brushes. Besides with the small brushes I can pretend I am making my own money. They wear so well. Even so, after a long while they start to look the same and become stretched out. But, no problem...I just buy them again. You can't beat the price and they are good for many pictures. I have some that are old friends that I just can't throw away.

These paint brushes were the perfect addition to my new hobby of painting by number. The quality was so much better than the brushes that came with each kit. These Golden Maple brushes were very comfortable to hold and work with. The many different sizes and shapes were extremely helpful. They were a good value for the price and I am considering ordering another set. Now the bad part: They had an incredibly strong, absolutely horrible odor when I opened the package. I had to take them outside and let them air out all day; then I kept them in an open window all night. Thankfully, the odor was much less by the next day. BOTTOM LINE: They are great paint brushes if you can get past the smell. Read what other reviewers say about the odor before you order.

Nice balance ergonomic handles. Great brush for detailed paint by number sections. They are of MUCH better quality than those brushes included with the paint by number sets. Easy clean-up. This set comes with a velvet bag as well a cardboard tube that serves as a brush holder to display the brushes for easier selection.

I bought these to supplement the brushes that came with a "paint by numbers" paint set. They work very well, with every type of brushstroke you'd need...

Was dubious about the quality at 1st. The price just seemed too low. But these are just a great value! I use them for painting miniatures. I use them with enamel paints and turpentine for thinner. The round brushes paint beautiful lines, the flat brushes are great for large areas and dry brushing. Even the ones I use for dry brushing hold up well. I clean them w appropriate thinner then wash them with bar soap and finally wipe them on the soap to point and dress them while they hang dry. Have been usuing the same 3 brushes for a couple months now with no loss of bristles or rusting ferrels.

Great little brush set. I bought to do a detailed painting and they are fantastic brushes. I highly recommend if you are looking for a quality set at a good price.

They are synthetic brushes and take a little some getting used to, but I've actually ordered this set twice - as I find them very good value for money in terms of range of brushes provided.
