This worked perfectly for Onn 4k plus. After connecting it up I turned off WiFi and then rebooted the Onn. It connected to Ethernet once I adjusted settings inside Nord vpn. I got this adapter because I had issues with the Onn WiFi dropping even though it was only 3 feet from my router, while every other device stayed connected. Now it has a stable connection, this solved the issue. I haven’t tested the speed, that wasn’t a concern before, this seems fast enough anyway.

Using this with the new Amazon Firestick 4k Max. Was getting between 16-26mbps over WiFi and games on Luna would be choppy and unplayable. Now coupled with a cat 8 Ethernet cable getting 330+mbps. Games work and finally getting to watch movies in 4k. So not sure if you can get 1000mbps but its still better than the Amazon one which Max's out at only 100mbps. Everything works and loads very quickly now. Great purchase

Fast Delivery. Very easy set up, took less than 2 minutes. Definitely worth the price I was hoping this would stop the constant buffering, however it didn't so I'm thinking too many people on same server. Still like the product. Very good quality, small so portable. I like that it has both a USB port and USB-C port. Need both for use with a fire stick. I definitely recommend this seller.

Connects. For me, it wasnt any faster of a connection than my wifi ~330 Mbps I imagine that is not this things fault, but I removed a star because it did not deliver the improved speed vs wifi that I expected when purchasing. Other people may have a different experience. Especially if their wifi signal is weaker.

Should have listened to reviews, they warned me about 4K Firestick but I took a chance. Connected, saw green ethernet link light on adapter but my firestick network settings did not show the wired option, only WIFI. Even after I rebooted, changed cables, changed ports, plugged/unplugged everything, etc. There was simply no way to change from WIFI to ethernet since firestick did not recognize the adapter. Checked online for solutions and none worked. Like other reviewers, it was clear that this device was simply not recognized by my version of Firestick 4K G1 (model E9L29Y on back of firestick). Since some posters said their Firestick 4K worked, an exact supported device model # list is needed! Returned and searching for one that will work. *** 1/2/26 update *********************************************************************************************** For a test I tried connecting another old G2 firestick I had since my 4K wouldn't recognize the ethernet connection. To my surprise, this one recognized the ethernet connection and allowed me to connect via ethernet. The problem was that even though I was now ethernet connected, 2 different speed tests showed my speed only around 50Mbps when my laptop over ethernet at the same time showed over 400Mbs and my phone on WIFI near the firestick showed over 300Mbps. So again, frustrated after rebooting, trying different cables/ports, etc., I removed it and went back to my 5Ghz WIFI with a network speed test of almost 300Mbps. Again, some reviewers say this works for them, so if you are buying this realize since there is no exact version hardware compatibility list it will be hit or miss. Good day.

I wasn't sure when I ordered this whether it would work for me. Why? There are other reviews saying that the Firestick 4K Max didn't recognize this adapter. There's also one that said it needed a 5v 2a charger, which I discovered I didn't have after it arrived. I plugged it in anyway with my Firestick's 1a charger, turned on the TV, and opened settings. There it was, no fuss! I turned off wifi, ran a speed test and got 369 Mbps, and called it good. Wife and I watched 3 hours of shows yesterday with no glitches. We're quite happy with it. P.S. I have ordered a 5v 2a charger, just in case we're pushing the 1a charger too hard.

Using this as ethernet adapter for Amazon fire stick 4k Max. I am so happy i found this, this is way better than Amazon adapter which restrict speed at 100mbps this Adapter claim 1000Mbps but i am getting approx 350 Mbps which is still very good. For ppl struggling with wifi but no internet issue on fire tv - this adapter is problem solver, i tried every possible setting on fire tv as well as on router( eero) but i still kept getting no internet issue, then tried amazon's adapter same issue ; ( seems like Amazon devices doesn't talk to each other nicely). finally I found this device which solved all the problem, device is working super fast

Works flawlessly with my ONN 4K Plus box. Instant data upon connecting to Ethernet. Speed and stability better than on WiFi. Highly recommend!

Pésimo producto, sólo funcionó en una ocasión, nunca más volvió a hacerlo, aún teniendo protegidos todos los aparatos con no break, no lo recomiendo, opten por otra opción.

Tienes que tener en cuenta que tienes que tener una conexión de ethernet directo a este equipo así te funciona Excelente

Like so many others have reported the Chromecast WiFi connection issue was starting to make using streaming services impossible. This device was the answer. Connected the wired ethernet and Chromecast power suppply to the adaptor, connected the adaptor to the Chromecast. It worked instantly. What a difference - fast menu selection, excellent picture with no delays, reliable, haven't had a drop out since. Simple and it works.
