Only lightly magnetic so it does not drag. My ten year old son loves it as much as his speed cube as it is still easy to turn wicked fast.

Light and Smooth
This Gan speed cube is a very good. My 11-year-old loves how light it feels and smooth it turns. He says it is the best 3x3 he has ever used. We have not needed to adjust the factory tuning at this point. He is super impressed with how easy it is to use and how high quality the cube is. It is even more fun if you integrate it with a Android app like cube solver. This allows you to easily and quickly fix it or put in into any pattern. It's fascinating! Probably cheating yes, but fascinating!

One of the best non-magnetic cubes
The package includes the GAN 11 air 3x3 cube, an acrylic case, a purple cube bag, and a tutorial manual. This cube is not magnetic and could be the best non-magnet cube. It has smooth turns and great corner cutting. Overall, it is a great cube, and I highly recommend it.
