Been up and down the East coast with it, from Michigan down to Texas. Haven’t had any issues at all!

Glad I bought this GPS

This unit is packed with many useful features.The magnetic attachment is strong enough to keep the unit attached even when driving through Arizona.I'm happy with this purchase.

This is a $900 GPS unit, the Garmin GPS unit arrived in a Garmin box, inside of a Amazon box, there was no plastic bubble wrap or any kind of packing to keep this electronic unit from being bounced around inside of the Amozon box during shipping. The corner of the Amazon box was damaged and ripped in the corner due to some kind of damage. After opening the Amazon box and looking at the Garmin box, I found that there was no clear circular security seal on the Garmin box, that is on all Garmin product boxes. (As per Garmin customer service) Garmin customer service told me that this seal is placed on the boxes to ensure that they have not or ever been opened and that they are as is from factory. Upon further inspection, I find that there's a rip on the corner of the tab that goes inside the box, where you open the box. That shows me that the rip and the lack of a security seal that this alleged brand new box was opened at some point in time. After opening the box and looking at the supposedly brand new GPS unit, I find that it was dirty, I had to wipe it off I looked at the back and as you can see from the photo there is wear and tear on the Finish from mounting it and unmounting it from the power connection. You can also see from the pictures that bronze or copper connections have already turned black from use. They tried to give me a refurbished or as Garmin calls it recertified, unit when they charged me and told me I was buying and receiving a brand new unit. Amazon claims that this is the fault of the third party vendor and not theirs. This may be true. But selling a refurbished item as a brand new item, stinks of a scam, shady, sheisty, criminal offense to me! Amazon is trying to make this right. They asked me to return this unit and they are going to send me a new unit arriving tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be the same thing all over again, and I will get the new unit that I paid for. I contacted Garmin, explained the situation that I had with their product and Amazon. And they explain to me how I can check to see if the unit has ever been refurbished and or even turned on, all with a when and where. This whole process that I described, talking to Amazon, talking to Garmin, reboxing and driving to Kohl's to return the package, all took about 4 and 1/2 hours out of my day.I just wonder how many people don't catch this or how often or how much this sort of thing actually happens to people, or individuals who aren't as eagle-eyed, or anal retentive, as some would say, I am.

As a truck driver all you know what it's like to be going down to four lane or five Lane interstate highway through a city at 60 MPH. And then all the sudden traffic stops to literally zero miles per hour. And you have to slam on your brakes. And it's scary. The live traffic monitoring alone on this unit is worth the price! It literally gives you live updates and it is very very accurate down to I've seen at a hundred feet and less .See photos literally gives you how far ahead the traffic is and how many miles it goes. Then when you start getting closer it will give you an audible warning with a banner. So you can prepare to slow down and stop and it works amazing! It has saved me from so many possible incidents. Then after you get into the traffic jam it will literally give you the time you're going to be in it and how many miles long it is! And it will live countdown. It's freaky how accurate this thing really is for that feature. Such an awesome feature. The GPS also works great this thing is packed with so many live features I don't know what I would do without this! Just buy it!It's a amazing GPS with lots of great features and data. And this is literally a piece of safety equipment that could save you from an accident! That alone is worth the price at least to me it is!

key selling point biardseye function not working (asking for subscription... but service is free and no subscription needed) on my unit, Garmin wasn't able to help me with this issue , trying to return it back, Amazon screwed me with return, due to it cost $900 ups driver have to pick it up on next business day, and not drop at UPS store... 3 days later no driver, no call from UPS ... thinking to reduce my business with Amazon... Update: from Garmin ... this is new problem they trying to resolve soon

Well Ill start out with the driver showed up early very polite made sure he checked my one time password to make sure the right person received the product in great condition great job and as for the GPS OTR 1010 Garmin well I cant tell you how impressed I am with it and how easy it is to use and those hard to find address like in Quebec that you would spend a half hour to find when you are in a truck and your trying to find your new pickup or delivery address was a nightmare . Well thats a thing of the past because now with your phone being paired with your Garmin you can search on your phone find the address [immediately] and then send it to the GPS unit with out touching it thats incredible and then there is voice command and ability to answer you phone through you Garmin 1010 fantastic . Great job Garmin and Amazon from reading a road atlas to get to a city and the having to stop in that town and buy a town map to find your delivery address this OTR Garmin 1010 is a Rolls Royce Yours Truely Joe Trifonidis

It’s not accurate at all in some area. Somewhere which the truck can go through but the GPS will make you take the fairer route. Also in some city it’s not accurate
