These buckets are great for pretty much anything. I use mine to store my dry goods such as rice and beans as well as my pet foods for the farm animals. These particular buckets are great and the fact that they come with the gamma seal lids is a bonus. A little pricier than the farm supply food but these are getting hard to find. Received these durable and sturdy buckets within estimated time. I even went back and purchased an additional set.

This product came quickly and was exactly as pictured...Normally I would not spend this much money for storage containers but it seems worth the investment to know that foods will stay dry and extend the shelf life of stored grains.

Compared to another set I’ve gotten off Amazon:- gamma lids are the same exact ones- buckets are translucent rather than opaque (-1 star, no light exclusion)- gamma seal rims are extremely hard to pop on. Other set I was able to do it with my hands + stepping on the rim. This set I was only lucky I had large channel lock pliers, otherwise would have to return for being unable to assemble. (-1 star)

The buckets are thick and sturdy. Gamma Seal lids are good. I could not get the ring of gamma seal to “click” onto the bucket. I used mallet and tried hammering ring onto bucket, Popped right back off. I put board on bucket over ring and hit on the board. Nope. I put board on half of ring and hammered exposed ring. Nope. I use this bucket for long term and use lid that is not gamma seal, and it secures to bucket perfectly. I use gamma lids on my Tractor supply food grade buckets, and they easily secure on these.

This was the perfect bucket and lid system for our needs. Being able to seal the lid but remove it later without destroying it is a BIG plus!
