I bought the series 9 shaver at a good price and am happy with the shaver. I Bought this head as an upgrade for my "sport" model. The blades stayed sharp for a year and a half. I read that any head in the 9 series would work on all models of the 9 series. This shaver head has a higher quality set of blades and I am happy to say they are sharper than the origional bladers. Ready for another 1 1/2 years.

I have the 9 series pro shaver and I love it, closest shave I’ve ever had. Very pricey but if you can afford it, it’s worth it. Equally this blade is excellent but too expensive and mine do not last 18 months. I use it everyday and it starts to pull and needs replacement after 10-12 months. It would last longer if you’re ok with some pulling and grabbing, but not me. Put the new blade on and I get that smooth comfortable shave.

They are made by Braun so they have the same quality as the original head.

3 to 4 stars. I purchased this at the end of April 2024, and now on November 12, 2025, one corner of the foil broke off. So it lasted just about 18 months. At this price, though, I would expect to get a little more use out of it. Reluctantly buying again, since other options seem worse.

Superior to original Series 9 head, lighter weight, cuts more effectively

After many years of using Braun shavers, I can only say that these are the best. My current series 9 is from 2017, and still going strong. I last replaced my shaver head exactly 2 years ago, and it's still doing fine! I'm about to buy a spare head just to be ready if I decide to replace at short notice. I found other heads for about half the price, but the reviews show that those are cheap knock-offs that are worthless. This is another one of those items where "you get what you pay for" and "if something is cheaper, there MUST be a reason for it", etc. I would say $60 every 2+ years is a good deal for shaving. Note that its important to keep the head clean and lubricated. Letting it run "dry" over and over will give you the results you deserve. I always put the shaver in the charging/cleaning stand each day, and push the "clean" button maybe 2 or 3 times a week, so I'm not a clean freak by any means. My shaver is now 8 years old and the batteries are still strong. I just left town for almost 2 weeks and the shaver still seemed like it was running on full power when I got back home. Note that that I did NOT have the charger/cleaning station with me! Braun is the BEST!

This product is a 100% genuine Braun cartridge. It shaves perfectly like the original cartridge. I highly recommend this seller 👍. Like a lot of people, I previously purchased a not so cheap cheaper cartridge that came in Made in Germany packaging that seemed genuine. Apart from not shaving as it should, it irritated my skin and fell apart. Beware of fake imitations 🙈.
