SurecanRP004 Replacement Spout Assembly

Sad you have to pay a lot for a replacement after paying $45 bucks for a gas can.

The new swivel line screwed right on, no leaks and works like a charm.

Easy to install and works great!

It's the typical product scenario. A Product is built with one part that fails easily so that consumers are forced to buy parts and the Company has recurring revenue. For SureCan that part is the spout. The spout on my can sheared off while filling without much force. A new Surecan is $60 so replacing a $15 spout is a better option. I replaced the spout in about 5 minutes and have used it once with no leaks. The spout is a compression fit and not screwed on which is good to know when attempting to removed the old one. The remaining piece of the spout must be pulled out.

Fit like it was supposed to but wish it came with the top to the spout. Had to order that separately which also included the fill cap.

Got the original 5 gal surecan in 2017 after trying other brands that leaked more gas than not having the stupid little air vent ever could. The nospill brand came close but was still more difficult to use. Ended up getting a 2nd surecan. Well living in the country some critter, maybe a mouse, chewed a few holes in the nozzle. I was glad to see just the replacement nozzle sold. It was easy to change and works like new.

Bought a new hose .. Why you asked because Sure Can wasn’t so sure. Right at end of warranty it begin to leak. And when i went to put new hose on ... Old one snapped off rendering them both useless. No worries I switched to “”A Paddock Friend. .. ( peep Review to see)

I employ idiot's so I bought a $70 sure can jerry can to prevent them from pouring gas on hot exhaust systems and loosing another piece of equipment to fire. They managed to rip the cap off the spout and lost it .... before ripping the hose off the jerry can. So a $70 Jerry can was now garbage in under a week and I was going to loose more equipment to fire but thanks to this replacement product that came with the lid I was able to save the $70 Jerry can and possibly more equipment. Screwed on in seconds and seals with no leaks .
