Kids loved this! So many pieces and stories. Great value for money

I purchased quite a few of these flannel stories and cannot wait to use them during story time with my students. I’ve used flannel stories before and find them to be a wonderful addition to learning time in my preschool classroom. There are so many interactive ways to use these and many of the stories are already familiar to the students so I can capture their attention fairly easily and hold onto it until the story is done. A good value and will be used extensively.

The pieces ARE durable against tearing, and they are waterproof as advertised. They DO crinkle a bit if they get bent, but overall they are sturdy pieces.The excess white around each felt piece is usable for small self-made felt story pieces as well if you have fabric paint, glue, fabric markers, and a little imagination! 💗My toddler enjoys the 4 included stories, and the pieces are actually versatile enough to make up your own stories as well. So while this is technically a 4 fairytale stories felt board, the actual amount of stories feel endless.

With some simple removal of the substantial felt pieces off the sheets and applying the velcro dot you have 4 classic nursery rhyme characters and props and their little story books. The characters stick to the fold-up board that has 4 pockets to put characters into when finished then folds in half to make a handy carrying case. I can't wait for my Grandkids to visit. They are going to love this.

This is a great activity. I love that my son plays with it after the story is over and makes up/add to the story. I gave it 4 stars because my three year old was upset that there wasn't an empty bowl. i tried to explain that he can use his imagination which he was ok with but proceeded to let me know that he didn't need to do that with the broken chair. I agree with him, it would have been simple to have included an empty bowl. I took a pic of it and printed it out, cut off the porridge and added a felt back. I also added butterflies per his request and now he said it is perfect. The three little pigs had everything he needed. We have only done the tortoise and the hare once, and have yet to do hansel and gretel, (maybe when he is older). Knowing this i would have still bought it.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter she really likes it.

Bought this for my grandson and he can’t put it down. Super fun stories.

So far the only story we have done is Cinderella but my goodness it was such a hit. They had to hold the felt pieces, each one had to hold their favourite pieces (the coach, the horses and the glass slipper) and they helped me tell the story. I am so glad I bought this felt set.

I was very happy to receive it on Friday, instead of Sunday. The materials were thick felt, and it print out which story is from. It was as it said. 4 story in one. The carry pouch was nice too, but I wish the compartment would be bigger and I wish they would have added another compartment especially for the story papers. The story papers were very thin and one sheet had 2 story on it, I wish it was one story one sheet, as I like to have the story sheets with the felts. The one that has 2 story on it, I will have to scan it and print out on heavier paper.
