I bought these to replace the filters in our Berkey. They seem to work really well. I can not tell the difference between the water filtered by the original filters and these replacements. These filters really do work for taking the chlorine taste out of our tap water. We use our Berkey all the time!

Love this product already! Was looking for this filter to add to my Berkey water filter and noticed this brand to be a lot cheaper than the one Berkey sells. I was skeptical to buy since it wasn’t from the brand itself but it looked identical and the numbers on the filter were the same so I gave it a shot. It connected perfectly to my other filters in my Berkey and has definitely made the water taste better even my husband noticed a difference!

I took the filters out of my Berkey to clean the system after 6 months of use. As I was screwing the fluoride filter back to the black filter to reassemble it, the plastic screw snapped off the black filter. Seems low quality to me, and I’m not sure how to continue using the filters. My husband is trying to glue it back on, but it seems precarious. I can’t find a way to contact the seller to ask for help. The water tastes great and filters reasonably fast. Sometimes it goes very slow in the last 40% of the black filter height, and rubbing the outside of each filter seems to help speed it up.

We use this to filter the minerals out of our tap water... well water that is... so that I can get more than one day of coffee out of our coffee maker. Without this filter, it clogs up in 2 days. With it, so far, we have been using the pot for about 3 months without having to clean the water tank and tubes. Water tastes good to. We go through about 2.5 gallons of water a day with it. So far, so good. I'll change this review if these filters fail after a years use; they are good for 30k gallons of water. We use... maybe that in the course of 2 years. I'd be very pleased with over a year of clean water!

I ordered these for the first time as an alternative to the Berkey brand. But, the cheapness is obvious. They worked for a few days and then stopped filtering. I re-primed them a few times over the next week, and after 1 day they stop flowing. Junk!

Definitely cleared the Denver tap water!! I could tell bc we use it in our tea kettle and when you boil the water a few times it will start to get a calcium deposit and some kind of clear glass floating in the kettle... After installing the filter the water stays clear until it’s about time to change the filter again. So it definitely helps!! It does last just about 5-6 months if you wash it regularly annd ant end of life the bottom of the filter kinda turns brown and it rubs off on your fingers which is quite gross. And it fits in my 1.5 gallon berkey.

Great replacement for recently run out water cartridge fitted my Vevor water filter.Not rendering it useless.

Deze filters zouden compatible zijn met de, Berkey Gravity Filtration System. Dit is niet waar, bij de advertentie zie je de filters met de goede afsluit ring. Je krijgt iets heel anders waardoor het water zo snel doorloopt dat je geen profijt van de Berkey hebt. Schroef draad is ook dunner dus de oude ringen sluiten op de nieuwe niet af. Ik heb er niets aan maar alles al uitgepakt en nat. Op de eerste foto oude ring op nieuwe filter, tweede foto de ringen die ik kreeg. Ondertussen wel mijn geld terug gekregen.

Currently, these are great. They're shipped from China so there's every chance they will be swapped out in the future for something inferior as seems to happen on Amazon all the time. This review is based on what I received. I'm used to the ceramic candle British Berkfield filters. These filters seem to produce better tasting water from tap water. They take a little longer to prepare than the British Berkfield filters but it's not onerous and according to the packet a pair of filters will process 6000 gallons of water before needing replacement. If that's the case, then these would last me almost 4 years. They filter water at super speed in comparison to ceramic filters so you no longer have to remember much in advance to refill. Considering the cost and the stated longevity these are superb value. If they only last 6 months they still represent a significant saving over British Berkfield filters at £16.15 which was the price when I bought. Any longer would be a bonus. I bought a second set a week after receiving. Best case scenario I have 8 years of clear water for ~£30, if they last six months I have just saved about £60 this year.
