Handy Little Gift That Actually Gets Used Picked this up as a gift for my adult son, and it turned out to be one of those things that’s actually useful instead of just sitting in a drawer. It’s got a bunch of small tools packed into it, but it still feels like a normal pen and not some bulky gadget. My son keeps it with him most of the time, which is always a good sign. It’s one of those “oh nice, this might come in handy” items that actually does. Build quality seems decent for what it is, nothing fancy but not cheap-feeling either. Everything works and nothing felt loose or like it was going to fall apart. Overall, solid gift idea if you’re not sure what to get someone. Practical without being boring.

This was the perfect Valentine's Gift for my husband. His face lit up when he opened it and was just astonished by the numerous things this multitool pen can do. He is an IT guy, and now he carries this with him to his client's house. He likes the sturdiness of the tool, the size is great for putting in his briefcase, bag or shirt pocket, likes the screwdriver, and the can opener and finds that it's easy to use. I was really happy when this popped up on my radar, it was a great gift for the price, this would be perfect for any holiday or even just because.

So this product is quite functional and the comments others have left are quite accurate. There are no instructions so I'm going to try and help. Specifically in regards the flashlight. The batteries do not go in the way you would think. When you twist the light off naturally one would think the batteries go in that compartment between the two. But they do not, as you can see in my picture the light stays on even when they are apart because the batteries are located inside of the smaller piece. Many comments say their product came with dead batteries and I assume they simply had them in the wrong place, or you know they might actually be dead. TO CHANGE BATTERIES: there is a plastic ring thingy on the very end of the light piece that pops off. Then a threaded metal cap slides off, then you can unscrew the light and access the battery. As for activating the battery while closed, that's kind of finicky. I found that placing one of the spare batteries in the space where the light unscrews from the rest of the pen is just enough to toggle the light button as you tighten or loosen the light piece. I hope that explanation helps someone. As for construction its quite solid. The level is accurate. Now the phone holder may or may not hold your phone with the case on, it does not hold mine. As for getting to the ink cartridge. You simply keep turning the tip of the pen when you are closing it and it will eventually come off then you can remove the pen's stylus and the screw bit and you'll find where the ink cartridges go in.

Neat concept, and some aspects are quite useful, but some of the tools don’t work. The stylus will not come out on the one we purchased which means the screwdriver won’t work either.
