LMS Silicone Rubber Sheet High Temp Thin Transparent Heat Resistant 300x370x0.5mm

I used small pieces of this on a motorcycle handlebar to stick control switch boxes to the bar where the original owner had done away with the plastic connection dimples on the parts. When an indicator/headlight and kill switch switch box costs 250 dollars each to replace, you look elsewhere to find a way to fix it. Removes the boxes and wrapped a small piece over each. It allowed the casing to bite right into the silicone and push it against the steel of the handlebar. Works perfectly. I've also been looking to find a tank protector that doesn't look absolutely ridiculous or in the shape of a skull, etc.. I feel this material might be perfect if I can find an appropriate adhesive that won't be too permanent or hurt the clear coat.

Some people complained that this was stiff. I found it pliable enough for my needs. Seems like good quality, doesn't out gas anything.

Took forever to get here. Found another product to work in the meantime. It is just described and it will come in handy for something I sure. Was going to use it for a replacement rubber for my RV shower door handle.

USED FOR A PROJECT

I rarely give one star reviews. The sheet I received was relatively stiff, i.e., not flexible, and by no means does it resemble the photo. It was tightly wrapped when shipped, and I can't seem to break it of it's curling memory - it won't flatten out. The corners continue to curl, and, again, it is not as pictured. It is not "fluid" at all. I would compare it to a somewhat flimsy, piece of acetate. The piece also had some divots in it, as if it were folded while rolled into a tube, and a crease slightly diagonally along the edge that ran the entire length of the sheet on one side. One of the few crappy purchases I've received.
