Reliable little flanger at a great price
I wanted a decent flanger to pair with my Phase 90 without spending a lot and this thing delivered. It has a wide range of tones and it took me a while to dial in something i liked, but once I did, I was able to nail the classic "house burning down" tone. So far only issues (and they aren't big issues at all) is that the little knobs do seem to be the most fragile part of this thing, which is otherwise built pretty solid. Also, the true bypass switch makes a very pronounced "pop" when I turn it on. Not a huge problem though, as several of my true bypass pedals make some sort of click or pop when engaged and it's not even noticeable when you're in the middle of playing. Overall, it's a reliable little flange that delivers that "classic" tone and it pairs really well with my dirt pedals without coloring the sound too much.

Excellent flanger for the very low price.
This is an excellent low-cost flanger. I have a lot of pedals, but this is my first flanger because I don't use this effect too much, and my amp already has a built-in flanger effect that gets me by when I need it. Still, I wanted to add one to my pedal board, and knowing it wouldn't get a lot of play I didn't want to spend a lot. Wow, was I surprised! This little pedal has a lot of range, and you can get pretty much all the classic flanger sounds, from barely perceptible to a deep-rumbling-jet-engine-in-a-tube, especially when you drive it with a good fuzz or distortion pedal. Very impressive for the price, and for an "introduction" to flangers if you don't use them very often. I'm so happy with this little thing that I almost always have it on now any time the distortion or fuzz is on. Also, there is zero switch pop, if you were wondering, and it's pretty silent when there is no signal present. 5 Stars!

Reasonable starter pedals
I’m an intermediate bedroom guitarist and these are some of the cheapest pedals I have. I’ve tried the high gain distortion, us dream and pocket metal. They are all varying degrees of distortion pedals, of the three us dream is my favorite, the more mild distortion flavors of the bunch, whereas the high gain and pocket metal are higher gain with a “tinty” type sound, older school metal sound. The aklot I really enjoy is the ultimate drive which apparently is supposed to be similar to an ocd overdrive. I love this as a clean boost to brighten up the neck pickup for cleans- it also boosts well with a tubescreamer style pedal. For a new guitarist who is learning to use effects or someone who would like to try a few clones of more expensive pedals the aklots are a nice cheap option. Not the best quality, all of the pedals I received were noisy, most of the noise went away after using an isolated power supply though. For under $30 bucks each you could buy the whole line for a few hundred bucks, or the cost of 2-3 name brand pedals. If you were thinking of buying all of them, I would recommend saving up for a pod go instead :).

Big sound in a small profile pedal
I use lots of pedals and have a hard time mounting all of them, the smaller profile allows me to have more sound in the same area. The pedal has got an excellent crunch on the distortion and the gain is clean and vibrant. For the price, it is an excellent replacement to a Boss distortion pedal that just wore out.Pro: Excellent sound for the price and the sizeCon: Not really a problem, but be aware that you cannot use a 9V battery, it wants a 9V DC power source.

This is a totally useless product!!! It doesn't work well at all!!!
So if you know Tremolo, you know what to expect in the way of sound and performance. Likewise, if you know 'pedals', again, you know what you're looking for as related to the kind of sound you're attempting to emulate. Well, if you're looking for a smooth oscillation in a tremolo affect, DO NOT buy this product! Essentially, it's noisy, it's got virtually ZERO range, and sounds more like a kid's toy machine gun than a guitar affect. I'll acknowledge that 'maybe' I just got a bad one. BUT, my assessment of the one I received is that it was totally useless, and went back to the seller within a day of it's arrival. Sadly, I wouldn't even give it to my 10 year old grandson to play with. It's just that bad!!.............

Great for the price
This is a great sounding pedal, which I use quite often. Like most overdrives in this price range this is a noisy pedal, no doubt due to cheap wiring. This one is actually VERY noisy, but because the actual overdrive/distortion is top notch, I have had to add a noise gate to my board until I can have it rewired with better wire, connections and solder.

Excelente para su tamaño y precio
El pedal funciona bastante bien apesar del bajo costo!! Lo único malo es que no tiene adaptador pero pueden usar cualquiera de algún otro pedal

Dyna Compressor doesn't compress much.
Perhaps I just got a dud, but the Aklot Dyna Compressor I have does very little compression. Even with the knobs turned all the way up it does very little. When the Sustain was cranked it really didn't sustain the guitar any longer. I A/B'd this with my Donner compression and it was night and day comparison - the compression was noticeable on the Donner and manageable. Same with the compressor pedals I've used in the past, regardless of the type of compressor they were. Signal chain was direct from guitar to single pedal to amp. Used it on both clean and distorted channel. Some positives - even with all the knobs cranked there isn't any real noise or hiss, just the faintest whisper of noise. Turn it down to 3pm and when I'm not playing I can't tell if the pedal is on or off. This worked great as a volume boost (and it didn't introduce any noise), but not as a compressor. I'm thinking I got a dud. I'm not going to order another one though to validate that. I've had similar experiences with other manufacturer's inexpensive mini pedals - some of them just don't work.

No brainer for guitarist
This is a surprise and utility! The pedal is solid and I was not expecting much for the price however I did research and I watched the videos which do not do it justice. The pedal had a lot of gain and is very clean . It is very solid build and metal construction feels solid. The tone is good and I got exactly what I wanted which I wanted something that will act like an overdrive but give me a new sound after using mxr pedals and a digitech. This is unique and sounds nice with tons of gain and volume at least 18db gain.. the tone is more of a bias eq not really a rat like filter.. when you get into the high gain distortion past 12o clock setting it breaks up too much but has decent sustain while staying clean so it’s not bad for hammering soloing but it is altering the sound and whole notes kind of get lost in the distortion. Not fuzzy distortion more note altering (bleeding) but still sounds clean. I also like that I can use my volume knob on the guitar and it actually is sensitive enough to attentuate the gain etc with my signal input. I live this pedal as like an overdue I’ve and a distortion tool for guitar. I also fed it from the pedal to a jc amp and worked well

Big sound for low price
Good little pedal for the price. The phaser speeds are easy to control
