Bought this product to enable me to add a handheld shower wand to my parents current shower head. The product is fantastic. I am a 58 year old woman with NO plumbing experience. I watched some of the videos and by the time the diverted arrived, I was confident that I could do it myself. I was able to install it within 10 minutes with no problems. The diverted is sturdy, heavy, and well made. I thought that I might have to tweak it with more Teflon tape or rubber washers to prevent leaks. That was not the case. It worked PERFECTLY. I also installed the Handheld shower wand I purchased from Amazon and installed that at the same time. It was also sturdy, heavy, and well made. No leaks from either item. If I was able to do this with no help from anybody, anyone can do it. I’m pretty sure the quality of the products contributed to the ease of installation. Extra rubber washers were also included in case of a slight leak that might result from removing an extremely old shower head and reinstalling it. I used the extra washers, just in case. Also, make sure to remove any old Teflon tape before applying the new Teflon tape. I also removed the restricter from my parents old shower head. They said their old showerhead, which had no pressure to it for the past twenty years, nearly knocked them down. They loved it. I read about the restricter while researching shower heads. There are plenty of videos showing you how to do this. It takes about 5 seconds. I highly recommend this product. I was so impressed with the diverter and the handheld shower wand I purchased for my parents that 5 days later, I purchased the same two items for myself.

I got this to replace an existing diverter (from another maker) that was a push/pull style that was difficult to use. This one was easy to install and they give you plenty of thread tape and washers to do get it done with no leaks. It feels like a high quality, solid device like you'd expect for normal plumbing use. The valve operates very smooth and easily and you can go from wand only, shower head only and everywhere in between. There is an arrow indicating rotation direction on the side so anyone should be able to figure out how it works. No problems at all and it works like it should!

Nicely machined, turning the valve feels like operating a quality machine. Female thread free turning. Comes with extra washers. Only ding is wish it were a 90 degree valve instead of 180 degree valve, but that is minor.

There are not many products that meet my expectations, but this one did. It’s great to know that there are quality companies out there like Mingor. I live in a house that has its own water well. The pressure I have in the house is much lower than municipal supplied systems. I too was wondering about the pressure I would get from my shower head after installing this unit – no problems! In fact it actually seems better than before. Installation took about 10 minutes using the supplied plumber's tape and rubber washers and without having any leaks. I replaced a plastic diverter that leaked no matter what I did to try to fix it. I repeat what someone else posted about this product “Sturdy and well made. The lever action is perfectly smooth”. It works so well that I made my wife try it out immediately and she also loved it. Reading the one and two star reviews I cannot imagine why these people had any problems. All I needed was a pair of pliers as everything else was supplied with the diverter. I’ve been using it for a few weeks to see if any issues arise; there are absolutely no problems.

I attached this to my shower to have two outlets. If you set the setting to the middle, it allows for it and has a solid amount of water flow. From a functionality perspective, it is fantastic, would highly recommend if you need to split your water streams or just redirect (you have option of either or both). -1 star though for lack of sealing tape. I was hesitant in purchasing this because previous reviews indicate the leaks that come from the setup. I experienced it when I initially set it up, but it was easily fixed with having some sealant tape which I had left over on the input and output sections. Adding the tape really tightens the seal and solves the leak issue. Overall this was definitely the best bang for the buck. Wish they just included some cheap tape that you don't need to buy a roll to get it to work.
