Go metal, great deal, nice pan.
Great pan and goes well with my new bigger plaster trowel. Very sturdy, well assembled, not too sharp on edges. Easy to clean with water. Used several times now for my attic and very glad for it. Great price.

Edward Tools 13” Steel Mud Pan
Great for spackling. Size is great. Easy to wash after use. I should have purchased one that would hold the pan better. Overall good product.

Not too bad, room for improvement..
Haven't used it yet, but first impressions are that it seems sturdy and would be effective at being a mud pan. It is GALVANIZED, not stainless steel. The sticker on the mud pan didn't want to come off very easy, but almost any mud pans or knifes have the stickers on there. Maybe in the future they could do a cardboard wrap around type thing instead of a sticker. If you are gonna use this at work or you are gonna use it a lot, find a stainless steel one, as they don't rust as easy. But this would be fine for when you might use it a few times a year. I have never had a galvanized one before, but I hear they rust really easy. Its labeled as rust proof but who knows ..

Excellent mud pan (and a great value)!
The headline of this review says it all. I purchased two of these mud pans several months ago while working on a large renovation project. They have held up to a lot of heavy use, have been washed many times, and continue to function exactly as expected. Great product!

Really sturdy steel mud pan
I am not an expert in the field. Just a DIY person. However, I know the quality of something. This steel mud pan was great and sturdy enough to do though job. Thank you for making and supplying this kind of inexpensive but qualified stuff. Really satisfied!!

First time mudders
We bought these as they were suggested from a drywaller. I bought 2 so we each had our own. They are sturdy and make it easy to keep the mud swept to one side or the other. We did have one break 2 days in. 😡 but instead of buying another one my husband duct taped and so far it’s working. Other than that one was worth the money. 🤷🏻♀️

Originally bought one of these and had to refund it because it came damaged (one of the edges that were crimped/rivetted together came apart). When I got my replacement, it was fine for the first few uses but the same thing happened. One of the edges that was assembled together came apart while I was cleaning it. I decided to just get a hawk instead but recently, I tried using it again and the rest of the edges came apart. Horrible quality.
