Ryzen 3 4100 4-Core, 8-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

Edit: My stupid self totally forgot about the BIOS. A quick BIOS update(and a mini anxiety attack during the process as a power failure or crash will brick the motherboard😰) and the CPU fired to life, giving my pc speed it never had before! Very happy with the performance so far and now I can run my virtual machines, and Discord bot servers at the same time with next to no lag. Highly recommend this processor if you're looking to build a nice budget pc, or upgrade from a slower processor. Original: Unfortunately I can't provide a true review of this cpu as it was dead on arrival. And I had to go back to my old cpu. I'm going to clean it up, and put it back into the package.

Easy to install

I've had a 6th generation Intel CPU for the longest time and while back 6-7 years ago it would've been great, nowadays it was starting to show its age. This CPU is the best bang for your buck if you need a modern CPU upgrade without breaking the bank. It's not going to be the most powerful since it is last generations architecture with another core and some more cache, but if you need a nice upgrade, this is the way to go.

I picked this up for a cheap AM4 build when it was on discount. I wanted to build a system that would mainly be idle on the CPU so was trying to keep cost to a minimum and this fit the bill. At it's regular price, there are much better options for only a few dollars more like the Ryzen 3600 or Ryzen 5500, but the nice thing with AM4 is the upgrade path is super easy and you have so many options I have noticed that this processor runs a little warmer than some of the higher end 65w ones like the 5500 and 5600, but overall it serves it's purpose as a low end, lower power cpu that is needed to just run the system without seeing heavy processing load

Os far it's working great. No issues during hardware and software setup. Runs well with a low profile GPU.

Exceeding all expectations this processor is a beast of a processor unit. Please note if personally installing processor make sure to download the newest version of your computer’s bios on a scan disk or your motherboard won’t communicate properly with your new processor and just a dab of thermal paste will do. All in all im extremely satisfied with this processor upgrade and cant beat the price

I used this in an entry level gaming PC as a gift. It holds up well, I see my brother playing Fortnite with it almost daily. Seems like it held up, even after a few months. Would recommend!

i ran games like gta v and a few others with it although it was better when i upgrade from this to a 5600x but i thought this worked well for me til i was ready for my cpu upgrade i had no problems id still use it to this day if i didnt have my system updated further

Yo la compré reacondicionada porque las CPUs prácticamente no tienen desgaste en comparación con el resto de componentes del build, así que te puedes ahorrar un buen pico comprandola reaco. Otro tip que os doy es que no hace falta pasta térmica! Ya viene con ella aplicada, en mi caso aún siendo de segunda mano al haberla comprado en estado "Muy bueno" la tenía sin tocar. La verdad que no sabía que estas venían con ella ya aplicada, pero bueno, dicen que la que traen de stock ya es suficientemente buena y así que otra cosa que te ahorras 😉 Espero que os haya sido de utilidad estos dos tips
