I travel a lot on long distance flights and unfortunately the supplied earphones from the airline just fall out of my ears. With this adapter I can use my own headphones and enjoy the entertainment. Very affordable, great sound quality. A must have for any long distance flight.

I generally find any electronic products under £5 to be pretty hit or miss. I've bought a couple of adapters from ebay in the past and they were all crap so decided to buy the 5 pack just to cover my arse (I bought these a while ago when there was only a couple of reviews). All five worked perfectly. Tested all of them on an Emirates Airbus A380 and Boeing 777; absolutely no loss in sound quality as far as I can tell. The build quality is very good. The ones I received are actually different to the product image. Amazon has a stock image of the of the same generic products I got from ebay. The actual product looks slightly different and has a much better construction and finish. There is minimal flash around the edges which is usually a sign of cheap manufacturing. They have a bit more weight to them as well. They feel like a premium product rather than throw away trash. My only, very minor, gripe is that the fitting for the 3.5mm socket is a little tight. You have to give the jack quite a bit of a push to click in. Would definitely buy again... if I didn't already have 4 spare ^_^
