We have very large kitchen drawers. The silverware organizer that we had been using for the past few years is stainless steel and worked well in the previous place we lived in for almost 10 years. When I placed it in the drawer here, it looked as if it was going to drown in all of the space and it slid all over. It was time to move on to bigger and better things and put the other one away until next yard sale. I read many reviews before I make a purchase and I take MOST of them into consideration. If the product is under a 4.2, I usually pass it up unless there are limited choices. IDK if anyone else does this so I felt the need to give this a decent review because this is a beautiful addition to our kitchen and for 100% bamboo it is a reasonable price as well. This fit perfectly into our drawer fully extended with about an inch of space towards the back. Now it says that it has little things on the bottom to keep it from moving around, but it still slides a little. I have a ton of silverware and I chose this one because it had the deepest sections of 2". I needed that extra 1/2 - 1/4" of depth. I love love it! And I would definitely recommend and purchase again if the need arose. I will make a suggestion to purchase some Walnut oil to condition the wood or some other type of wood conditioner to keep it from warping or splitting. It also has 2 extra bamboo slats (which confused me at first) to put in the extended parts to keep them open. I do not regret this purchase at all and thank you for the perfect addition to our little kitchen!

My wife thought I was nuts researching kitchen drawer insert organizers. I was concerned with three things; 1) Overall Build Quality, 2) 100% Bamboo Construction - including the base/bottom and 3) Overall Height. This product checked all three boxes! Yes this product was about $10 to $15 dollars more expensive than some of the others but it is quality built, solid bamboo construction on every part and it is one of the few utensil drawer inserts that provides you with 2 3/4" of total depth. Keep in mind that the depth is the "total depth of the insert, not the actual compartment depth which you need to understand as these type of products provides you with an adjustable width capability and that feature takes up some height space to provide. Every other manufacturer also provides adjustable width sizing and will have the same build/height issue BUT most every other manufacturers only provide total depths of 2" so this one definitely beats them all! The other real nice thing is that this unit has silicone feet on the bottom to keep it from moving in the drawer so when you open the drawer quickly - it will not slide around. The other nice thing is that they provide you with two sheets of bamboo to use as a spacer sit it can truly provide a rock solid fit. Bamboo is easy to work with and if you score the sheets deeply enough it will split along your score line cleanly eliminating the need to use a saw to trim the bamboo sheets. Time will tell if it holds up, but my guess would be that based on how it was packaged, how it feels in your hand and the overall look of the construction quality that this will last a long time.

This was almost a perfect fit in my cutlery drawer. I am so happy that it has a lot of cut outs.

I like the weight / feel / heft of this unit. I took off a star because even though it is expandable to the full width of my drawer, I had to use BOTH the left and right 'pockets' because it would not allow my to expand just the left or right side to maximise the size of the left or right pocket... I HAD to use both the left and right pockets... I would have preferred to have one large on on the left. The middle drawer would not slide all the way to the left or right... so you have to have 2, smaller pockets. The other issue that people have had with the middle part sliding freely or the width not saying fixed because once you expand this to the width of your drawer, I was able to resolve by cutting a piece of bamboo from the supplied extra pieces to fit in the slot in the middle of the drawer and gluing it to the center part of the unit. With that extra piece glued to the drawer.. it 1) prevents the sides from closing in and 2) prevents the middle part from sliding to the left or right. I am not sure how the manufacture could make this easier... but it would have been nice if I didn't have to measure, cut, do it again... ( glad there was a lot of extra baboo supplied... remember... measure twice... cut once ) and then glue to the middle part of the unit. 2 final thoughts... my drawer is 17" deep. This unit is 17" deep. My drawer doesn't open the full 17" so there is space in the back that I can't see or get too..... something to think about when you are measuring. And... the SIZE of the individual areas is way longer than my standard silverware. Even thought this unit FILLS the entire drawer... there is a lot of wasted space around the actual silverware. Those issues are annoying too. Anyway... have had this for a few days... so far, so good. - jack

Good quality as adu

I really like this silverware organizer! It’s not quite as big as I’d like it to be for the size of my drawer but my drawer is massive so I haven’t found any that actually fit it and this is the closest. It’s medium thickness and seems durable. It does slip around a bit but I think that’s because it’s too small for the drawer so I will put some cloth underneath of it. It’s really simple to use and you can easily close it with one hand but it takes 2 to open it. It’s adaptable to your kitchen and overall a great value compared to the other options on the market!

It is sturdy and fits well in the drawer. I also like the way it looks.

Love this drawer organiser!! Fitted in my big draw perfectly. Nothing defaults this product. It is perfect and I recommend it to everyone

I ordered this for my parents cuz they recently renovated their kitchen and needed a new utensil organizer. Their drawers are huuuge, and this extendable organizer fits perfectly. It's nice and sturdy, and fits a lot of cutlery and cooking utensils.
