These are great.
These little grips are fantastic. One complaint a lot of people have with the Switch is that the Joycons are too small, and these (mostly) solve the issue. While they're just molded plastic, they feel very durable, and are easy to hold. The Joycons fit snugly in them, but despite that are extremely easy to remove. The following are not design flaws in the grip, but a few things to keep in mind:1) The Joycons by design have an offset joystick or face buttons (depending on which side), these grips can't solve that. So depending on which Joycon you're using, the distance between the grip and the joystick (or face buttons) is further than on most controllers of this shape. Not a big deal for most, but for small children it can be a bit of a stretch on the fingers.2) The Joycons are tiny, and while these help, they are also quite small (they have to be to fit the Joycon). I would say they are slightly smaller than a regular Playstation controller. They definitely help a lot, but people with big hands may still feel some discomfort.3) The shoulder buttons are made of plastic and require a bit of force (at least when these are new) to activate the actual buttons on the Joycon. Not really a big deal but small kids may have difficulty with that. The grips also block the ZR button completely, so cannot be used with games that require it.I highly recommend these for owners of the Switch, getting two for this price is a great deal, and they're well made. My sister is a casual gamer and her comment regarding the grips was this: "This is the most fun I've had playing the Switch, every other time I've tried it I didn't like the tiny controllers. But these things make it feel normal to me."

Get A (Better) Grip
Even though just a mold of a piece of plastic; it does it's job surprisingly well.If you have giant man hands then you know that the original stand alone joy con controllers may be a bit cramped, and this product helps alleviate this a bit. Your hands are more closer together than the Xbox one and PS4 controller, but still comfortable during long game sessions. If you use the joycon grip attachment that came with your Switch it's the same horizontal distanceVery easy to slip on and off without having to deal with any cumbersome latch mechanismHaving used this dozens of times, the joycon controllers have no scratches whatsoever when using this productTriggers are way better than pressing the tiny SL and SR buttons in the default setup.Played Ultra Street Fighter II and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with this and i have massive gameplay skill improvement than without the grip especially when using the trigger buttons. When you're on the Home screen of the switch, you have to flip the controller vertically unless you're used to inverted controls as it'll detect the up button the the joystick as left or right depending on which joycon you're using. One of your thumbs will have to stretch towards the center of controller as it very awkward, but you get used to it after a while. The last two issues is still present with or without the grip so i won't dock it.Overall these grips makes game more playable especially if you have large non-childlike hands. Its a little something extra to carry around if you go portable with it, but definitely worth it.

Work great!
These grips are super easy to use, and also easy to wipe down and clean which is always a plus with kids in the house. They're a simple design - just pop your joy-con in and out without any need for retaining features. The SL and SR buttons on the grip function well, but there is no access to the R&L buttons which causes issues if you are playing a game where you change controller orientation throughout the game (i.e. Mario Party). In that situation you have to take the grip off each time which is slightly annoying but not a deal-breaker. Overall we enjoy these and will likely purchase another set for the new Joy-Con set we just got.

Should come with the Switch by default
This is probably my favorite accessory so far for the Switch, and addresses easily my biggest complaint regarding the Switch. Prior to this product, whenever I and another person needed the joycons to play, we would either connect the small black sliding pieces with the attached straps or just use the joycons without any additional items. Connecting the black pieces meant the shoulder buttons were more accessible, but the controller still felt too small. Also, trying to remove the straps was also highly difficult because of the small profile, getting any grip to slide them off was frustrating. Playing with no straps was better, but the shoulder buttons were an exceptional pain to hit because they are both tiny, and recessed into the top. This product finally makes an individual joycon feel like a legitimate controller. The shoulder buttons are very easy to push, while the size is still smaller than other controllers I'm used to, the profile fits very well into my hands, and all the buttons and control stick on the face are still easily usable. I also appreciate the fact the controller feels solid and will not fall out easily while still being able to be removed without too much trouble. This is very useful when needing the motion detection feature of the joycons.Overall, if you own a Switch and ever have a need to only use a single joycon for any reason, this is well worth the investment, especially for the money. Nintendo should take note and begin bundling these with Switches.

Work great!
These work so well and I don't know why I waited so long to look for something like this. My son loves playing multiplayer with me now and the single joycons are rough on my hands. These are still small obviously but so much more comfortable to use than the regular joycons.
