100 pcs Low Voltage B Connectors Crimp Splice Terminals– AWG 22-26 Small Gauge Dry Bean-Style Butt for Telephone, Alarm, Security, Intercom, and Network Applications (No Gel)

I recently had to install a new intercom unit. If you know anything about intercoms, they use very thin 22 gauge wire, and there is always a lot of wires! The wires on existing unit were held together by twisting them and electrical tape. That worked fine for 25 years, the electrical tape was all dried up and just sitting on top of the wires. By using these connectors, I was able to clean up the electrical taped mess and ensure a sold connection for years to come. No stripping of wire is required. Inside these connectors are tiny barbs that punch through the wire insulation. You simply take the 2-3 wires you need connected, insert and crimp with standard pliers. I crimped it in 2 places to make sure I got a good connection. They're nice and small also, so if the wires needed to be stuffed into a small opening, you can do that easily. I had to do that with a garage sensor for my alarm system recently.
