I love that the characters actually have personality and appear non-static
My autistic son is obsessed with these books because of how silly they are. I always make voices for the characters and he gets a kick out of it. I love that the characters actually have personality and appear non-static,but actually true to life. They're all so expressive and hilarious.

A fun-to-read book about how nothing can become something
The Good for Nothing Button is a fun-to-read book about how nothing can become something, with the right attitude and a little imagination. This is a strong addition to the Elephant & Piggie Like Reading! series featuring different authors and brief introductions and conclusions from Gerald and Piggie. I bought this book to share with my 1st grade students.

Perfect for fans of Elephant and Piggie
My 5YO and I read this for bedtime immediately after getting it on release day and we loved it as much as we loved the first two books in the Elephant and Piggie Love Reading Series. I will also be purchasing this for my school library, where students have also been loving the series

Cute but not a repeat read for us
Fun but lacks the wittiness of a true Gerald and Piggie book. Note: not a Mo Willems book just “endorsed” by his characters. Cute concept and typical style of basic illustrations but not really a “wow.” Read it twice but our kiddo hasn’t asked for it again.

Cute but missing something?
Not sure how to really review this one as the book is about nothing at all, but my 2 year old loves it. It's funny to read out loud as all Mo Willems books are, but it felt so different from Harper's other books, that I felt kind of sad. We love her other books as well. Again, my daughter loves it and consistently reaches for it from her bookshelf, so obviously happy with the addition to our collection. I LOVE the Elephant and Piggie reading series and cannot wait for more. It's so cute to get a reading recommendation from Mo and a little Elephant and Piggie sketch in the beginning and end.

These books are good for preschoolers and kindergartners
My grandson who was 5 at the time and now 6 absolutely loves the Piggy and Gerald series of books! I believe they have given him a love for books - we have read everyone and wish the author would keep them coming! My grandson likes to take turns reading the different parts with me, these books are a treasure

This book is so much fun to share with kids
This book is so much fun to share with kids. It's really funny and resonates with me because my mom was always telling me how my brother couldn't "make" me mad, that was my choice. I'm pretty sure the button really works.

Good book
I purchased two of these for my grandchildren. They both enjoyed the storyline and thought it was a good book. I have read it to them several times. Age 3 and age 8.
