Whether cutting laminate or solid surface counter tops, and finished plywood this jig does it with ease and is precise.

Works well and instructions are clear. I used it on a 'live edge' counter work top. The datum system from the jig all comes off the front edge, with the live edge I had a hard time transferring the measurements to the back straight edge of the countertops. Also, on the male side of the joint, the pegs sit up a little and that is a problem if the router catches on them. Take your time and you will be fine, cut some practice joints if the material is expensive.

I'm halfway through the fitting of my new kitchen and this has made the job a lot easier. As well as cutting the joints I've used it to cut out the sink hole. It is easy to use with the marked peg holes. Very well made solid tool. This is my first time using a router and template so I appreciated the guide but also the online videos from Trend. I recommend you watch so as to learn what all the peg holes are for. You will need a 30mm guide for your router but I've been working with a very old 1/4 inch budget model and it has been fine. Lots of small cuts and not trying to bite off too much at a time.

The pins are a weak plastic and some are loose while other are tight in the holes. Tight is better. Will make my own. Otherwise great fot making kitchen countertops

Wenn man sich einmal reingefuchst hat, funktioniert das Schneidebrett super. Unsere erste Küchenarbwitsplatte die wir zugesägt haben und die sie gar nicht mal so schlecht aus. Übung macht den Meister, aber wir sind zufrieden. 👍🏼 die Platte hat gute Dienste geleistet.
