Depending on your project you can cut the ends to the size you need. I use then when deco my wreath center. They are sturdy don't bend when inserting on my foam. I like these pins work perfect for me.

These are very thin pins, but they will do what I need - they pierced the foam core board efficiently, but you need to keep in mind that they will bend if you push too hard too fast.

These are just okay. Some of them are not sharp enough to go through four layers of quilting cotton.

This is a big improvement over the thumbtacks we were using. Much more subtle way to display a mask our daughter made. But I thought they would be a bit thinner. Worked for our purpose though. Probably my bad for not knowing the gauge.
