Friday morning of Labor Day weekend I wanted to finally DO something about pesky mosquitoes in our back yard. My research told me Mosquito Magician “Ready-To-Use” was the best choice. It is supposed to kill & repel mosquitoes and is all natural; they say it will be safe for birds, bees, butterflies, pets and kids, too. I placed my order for “Ready-To-Use” Mosquito Magician with Amazon and received free shipping. That very evening there was a light rap on my door and to my astonishment, there was my order right on the doorstep! This morning, all I did was pour the mixture in my sprayer and spray the grass and plants all around the patio. For good measure I used a bit on the patio itself where I knew we'd be sitting for dinner tonight. There was no measuring and mixing. I just poured the Ready-To-Use formula in the tank. It smelled like someone was cooking Thai food for a few seconds as I was spraying and then the scent diminished. Already, I can tell that the few, lone mosquitoes that found me before I sprayed have disappeared. A cool thing happened as I was spraying. Two Monarch butterflies hovered over the Penta flowers I had just sprayed. I think they felt safe. As for the mosquitoes: maybe they just don't like Thai Food! I can't wait for the real time test tonight. I will keep ya’ll posted so you won't have to do all of the research that I have done to find a safe way to protect the ones you love from mosquitoes. The product was delivered and immediately I smelled the peppery scent through the box very strong oder but not to unpleasant. I feel the cost of the product is a bit high for two gallons. One gallon basically covered one acre of the inner perimeter of my property. I use a foger machine to dispense the product. I would recommend a good quality sprayer because of the oils in the product foam up in the spray foger. I just like how well the foger spreads and the height I get out of it. But if you have a small area or some trouble spots a sprayer should work equally as well get one with a wide jet tip. The product does reccomend a sprayer. I would use a powered sprayer for large areas. Remember foger sprayers are different than regular sprayers. After the application I honestly didn't see any bugs or flying insects for about 45 days. 50 to 60 days insects seems to start returning. My wife and I got bit once or twice in that time. But the product does work. I have a very large property and wooded landscape. Treating the area close to the house and driveway worked well. The oil sticks to the trees and plant vegetation in turn sticks to the insects suffocating them and repelling them. Lastly I find that you can buy the oils in this product yourself and make your own mixture cheaper. But the product is safe for use no toxins. You really don't have to wear a mask but I still recommend you do so with any insecticide. I would absolutely buy the product again if they gave three gallons at the same price. If you have large areas you will go through two gallons quickly. Small to mid size property two gallons should last you awhile.

Did not work for me. It even felt like my mosquito infestation got worse after using this product (which I admit could be in my head). I still haven’t found a product that works well but will keep looking.

Been spraying this around my patio every few days with a Ryobi cold fogger. I find it does better with about 20% water, even tho it says ready to use. It's knocked mosquito down about 75% I would guess, but has ran the red ants away where I can't see any! Not sure if coincidence, but am going to continue with it. Makes yard smell like garlic and rosemary tho...but that's better than ants and pests. Product is easy, especially with cold fogger. Not to worried about chemical around pets and our eating area...but still careful...at least it's not insecticide risks.

I used Mosquito Magician in my fogger, and yes—it absolutely works. The mosquitoes practically packed their bags and left the yard. I could finally enjoy an evening outside without doing the itchy dance every 5 minutes. BUT... the smell. It hits you like a mix of urine and industrial cleaner. It’s strong, it lingers, and it makes your yard smell like a haunted port-a-potty for a while. Luckily, it does fade after a few hours, but you’ll definitely notice it (and so will your neighbors). That said, if you're desperate for a mosquito-free zone and can handle the odor for a bit, this stuff delivers. Just don’t plan a dinner party right after fogging unless your guests enjoy Eau de Chemical Swamp.

It will take a couple of applications to see results . it’s not a one and done.I had a nest of mosquitoes behind my shed and it took a couple of applications to see the results.

We have used this a lot and noticed zero difference in mosquitoes around us.

The patio area around our back door is very shady and some what damp. The mosquitoes this summer have been awful, but with two dogs, and lots of hummingbirds and bees coming to the flowers and hummingbird feeder, I didn’t want anything that would harm them. We already have two bug zappers in the yard, but this year has been extra rainy, so way more mosquitoes than normal. We’ve been spraying only the hard scape, not the plants, and it has made a huge difference. It seems to last a couple of weeks unless we get a really heavy rain. We spray and wait a half hour before letting the dogs out there. I would definitely recommend this product. We don’t spray our whole yard, we’re just trying to keep the area near the back door so that we can be outside without getting attacked by mosquitoes and to keep them from coming into the house.
