Came in with low expectations, and I love it!
I bought the "yum inferno" pack on a whim, thought it'd taste like every cheese crisp I've tried (not that good). I was craving snacks and I saw this in my pantry. When I tell you I was shocked at first bite. It tasted like a diet version of the Cheetos. Yes it's a harder texture but it literally moon cheese what do you expect. This makes me feel like I'm eating normal snacks and I love that!! If you really miss snacking on some chips or Cheetos I definitely recommend trying them! Definitely curbs my cravings for some junk food!

Great flavor profile
More zing in smell and taste than the smooth regular cheddar flavor which I love as well. Trying to eat healthy but missed that satisfying crunchiness that chips have. Moon Cheese® Crunchy Cheese Sticks are the first shelf-stable cheese snack product in a stick or puff format made from 100% real cheese. The new line has four times more protein than leading brands with 14-15 grams of protein, only three grams of carbohydrates, and one gram or less of sugar per serving. Delightfully nutritious, the line of products is packed with protein, gluten free, low in carbs and sugar, yet high in calcium. Moon Cheese is the greatest thing on this entire planet. I have had a similar product, but that tasted nothing like cheese. Moon Cheese tastes just like cheese. It satisfies that cheese craving. This is great to keep around, so you don't end up eating all the cheese in your house before you made the recipes you bought it for.

Ok
These are ok but I probably won’t buy them again. They are hard and crunchy just like the smaller ones. Definitely not hot but they have a little spice to them.

Spice is medium salsa level; cheese flavor comes through; too much sodium
I’ve tried regular Moon Cheese before and enjoyed that well enough. Moon Cheese is a dehydrated cheese product as opposed to a cheese-flavored snack. In this case, the cheese used is mozzarella, though cheddar is listed as one of the ingredients. Regular Moon Cheese comes in spherical balls. This product has pieces that are different sizes and shapes. The cheese here is coated in a spicy dust. I imagine the intent is to be something akin to Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. I’ve never had that, though I love regular Cheetos, so I can’t compare how the spice is in that to the spice in this product. I will say that these are pretty spicy and will probably be too spicy for some people. While I am not really into super spicy things, I find the spice level in these to be tolerable even for snacking. Also, the cheese flavor actually comes through, so it’s not just spice and crunch. Overall, I think these are pretty good. My only complaint is the amount of sodium. Each bag contains 3 servings, and each serving has 550mg of sodium. The bags are not large; thus, the serving sizes are quite small. Someone could very easily consume an entire bag of these in a sitting, which would contain 460 calories and 1,550mg of sodium. Given that the daily recommend allowance for sodium is 2,300mg, this one, small bag would account for 2/3 of a day’s allowance. On the plus side, this product is high in calcium.

Move over, Flamin' Hot Cheetos!
This is my new favorite snack! I love Moon Cheese in general...it's probably one of the only cheese snack of this kind that tastes like actual cheese and not styrofoam/wax (I'm looking at you, off brand Whisps). To find out that they make a spicy version was a real treat - no pun intended. As the headline says, these are similar in taste etc to Flamin' Hot Cheetos BUT they are made with actual cheese so they are healthier and contain less junk. And if I'm honest, I actually like these better than Cheetos...they are more flavorful overall IMHO. They definitely have a kick to them that says HELLO!!!! to your taste buds immediately on first crunch.Moon Cheese is not the cheapest snack but they are definitely worth it, especially if you are looking for something crunchy that is a healthier alternative to over processed snacks. Will definitely get these again...in fact...I have to do that soon since both bags are almost already gone LOL. YUM!

unpleasant mouthfeel/texture, flavor a cross between Dorito and Cheetos, made in the USA
The surface texture of these Moon Cheese Yum Inferno snacks is kinda pasty and unpleasant. They are not completely crunchy, either. It's like eating dehydrated cheese. The flavor is aggressive and artificial-tasting, and reminded me of a cross between Doritos and Cheetos. YMMV, but after a bite or two I gave up and threw the rest in the trash. They're made in the USA and technically they contain more real cheese than Cheetos, but I vastly prefer the crunchy texture of Cheetos over these and I wouldn't call these a healthy snack. The ingredients also contain "natural flavors," and one bag has 67% of the daily allowance of sodium. They're also high in saturated fat.

Amazing
Moon Cheese was the brand that first introduced me to freeze dried cheese. I never really cared much for freeze dried fruit (weird styrofoam-y texture), so I had low expectations when I first tried the classic Moon Cheese. The classic Moon Cheese is just little cheese nuggets... no weird texture at all, just crunchy cheese that could be mistaken for a cracker or something. Super yummy. So when I saw Moon Cheese is now expanding their lineup to other types of cheese snacks, I had to try it... these are basically freeze dried cheese sticks that could easily pass as crunchy Cheetos. The difference is, they're a little crunchier, are much tastier, and have some actual nutritional value. The "yum inferno" variety packs some heat as well, not enough to be unpleasant to eat, just the right amount as far as I'm concerned. These are a great snack.
