Not easy to mix (clumps and creates a lot of foam)
Product is good but I have a challenge in mixing it: - it creates clumps very easily on whatever I try to use to mix it ( be it spoon or electric frosted) - when I use electric powered protein mixer it generates a lot of foam

Recieved the protein. Taste is good for natural flavour, I can add any flavour to my taste as i like this way. Had some delivery issues, not the vendors fault, but vendor did a great job in reponding and sent another very quickly. Great customer service

Was looking for pure whey protein. Tried many different brands. And this one turned out to be less pleasant to drink and almost have no effect on my body. Except bloated sensation and being nauseous it doesn't do much. After week and half started having a bit of odor, as if stale milk. I have felt worser only after dynamite balk isolate protein powder. Even without flavor it feels odd and unpleasant to drink. Will double check today and dispose it. That was the last protein brand for me, waste of money. Note. Jar is only half full, so you pay for empty space.

I always used whey protein-- the super flavored/sweet kinds-- and loved flavors like Double Chocolate, Strawberry Smoothie, Vanilla Bean. But one day after reading some articles online, I decided to switch to unflavored organic natural plant based proteins. At first I thought the plant proteins were gritty and unpleasant tasting. But I bought a lot of it and thus vowed to finish it before looking for a new protein source. After several months and at long last, I finished my stockpile of plant proteins and I immediately order Naked Whey. I was really excited until I realized that after months of drinking the plant proteins I have developed a taste for it. I liked that plant proteins havetexture and I liked that they thickened up and added bulk to my smoothies. In contrast, Naked Whey does not add texture or thickness. The pros of Naked Whey is that it tastes and feels clean, has minimal to no flavor, and once it is mixed, it doesn't add texture or thickness to the liquid. It has no emulsifiers in it so in fact, it blends very smooth and runny. It doesn't give you the "smoothie" texture because again...no emulsifiers. Great, right? Except, I realize now that I don't want to drink a runny protein. I like the grit...er, I mean...texture. Sigh. So, I tried Naked Whey in my Vitamix blender. It whipped up and was something frothy and awful. Full of air and bubbles (burp). So, I prefer my Naked Whey shaken in a blender bottle or lightly blended--meaning it has to be the last ingredient added to my smoothie if I'm using a blender so that I avoid whipping it frothy. Now, I'm committed to finishing my Naked Whey so I can go back to my plant proteins. LOL! Naked why, although virtually flavorless, it does add creaminess and milkiness, so if you don't like the way milk tastes, beware. Last thing to note, the powder is extremely fine. It is great for blending but it is actually a little difficult to handle and can blow and make a mess when I'm not careful. I live in a arid climate so the powder also has a bit of a static "cling" problem to the plastic bottle and the provided plastic scoop which adds to the messiness. Not a deal breaker by any means, but a mere observation. Overall, Naked Whey... Great product... I don't mind it... but I don't love it.

The first thing that caught my eye about this product was the attractive price, so I decided to try Naked Whey and placed an order. I currently use a more expensive top undenatured whey protein brand from Northern California which its milk is organic and comes from grass fed, pasture raised, antibiotic/hormone free happy cows. When I received my order I was happy to see that Naked Whey looked, smelled and tasted the same as the other more expensive brand I use, so I was ecstatic! Within a few weeks of using Naked Whey time came to place a second order, and that's when I saw a pattern that a few people here have described. Upon receiving my second order I was immediately disappointed, the Naked Whey looked different, it had an yellowish color to it as opposed to the usual, pleasant to look at, creamy color. It smelled different and the taste wasn't the same either. I've read lots of reviews here from people complaining about the same thing and I read the manufacturer's answers as to why this is happening and I am NOT convinced! Something is definitely up. The reason I say that with such confidence is because I have been using the other more expensive top organic whey brand I mentioned above for over a year and I NEVER had this issue. One of the Naked Whey manufacturer's explanation for this weird yellowish color in some of their whey is because "they do not bleach" their whey; guess what? The "top brand" I use does not bleach theirs either and their whey is consistently the same creamy pleasant color every time! Now, I have come across the Naked Whey heavy metals test (please see added link), my jaw dropped! All I can say is: Unacceptable! Arsenic, Cadmium, Lead and Mercury (especially the lead and mercury) are toxic in any amount to the human body and should be not present in any food designed for human consumption. I am a Nutritionist and food scientist/researcher, and one thing that Naked Whey folks might not know is that whey is extremely sensitive to light and should not be exposed to it, hence why the top brand whey protein I use comes in a package with an aluminum foil lining on the inside to protect and preserve the whey from the denaturing effects of light on whey protein. Maybe the clear plastic container Naked Whey adopted might not have been a great idea after all. In closing, I am not buying this product ever again based on these inconsistencies in coloring/smell and taste. I am not the first one to point this out here. I had a feeling there had to be a catch to that attractive price of $89 dollars for a 5 pound container of Naked Whey. I am feeling totally duped, but I guess you get what you pay for. Naked Whey is not getting my money ever again and I will return this yellow crap ASAP!

"While I appreciate the clean ingredient list (grass-fed, no additives), the unflavored version is incredibly difficult to stomach. It has a persistent, overpowering dairy/chalky taste that’s hard to mask, even in strong smoothies. Mixability is also poor – it clumps badly unless I use a blender, which isn’t always convenient. For the price, I expected better solubility. Quality ingredients, but the experience isn’t enjoyable."
