Great quick banana bread

Nice texture but.....
Not much banana flavor. 2nd time I made them I added 1/2 teaspoon banana extract & they were perfect. These are great in a pinch (muffins) but I prefer my recipe. Problem is I live an hour away from the nearest grocery store so buying fresh bananas doesn't happen that easily. Krusteaz is the only brand of any mix I will buy. As a professional chef I much prefer scratch...Krusteaz comes as close as you can get for a mix.

Sugar bomb
Product is easy to use. Bread is moist. BUT it tastes like sugar base with banana flavoring. So I read the label: 28% of RDA of sugar in one serving. Ouch. Also, the second ingredient is sugar: far far more sugar than in bread or made from scratch banana bread. I have been trying to reduce sugar, this almost got me to a sugar coma (ok I had 2 generous servings because it was new to me). Think of this as candy, not bread.
