Lethal Lies (Blood Brothers (2)) Mass Market Paperback – October 31, 2017

This was a great addition to the series. It CAN be read as a standalone (even though it's book 2 in the Blood Brothers series and a spinoff of the Sin Brothers series) but I'd highly suggest reading the Sin Brothers books, then begin the Blood Brothers books, reading them in order. It just makes much more sense and gives you a feel for the story. This one was action packed, intense, suspenseful, mysterious, and held plenty of romantic moments to keep me happy. My poor jaw aches from having clenched my teeth while reading this story!I really liked Anya's character. She was brave, strong, held firm to her decisions, was smart (even if she made a few rash decisions due to her feelings), and was a fighter. There were many moments throughout the story where I was cheering her on!Heath was such a sweetheart. He has a bleeding heart for wounded animals and women, and that just makes me swoon! He was protective, sexy, smart, but wasn't all caveman with Anya. Instead of locking her away (like some heroes do), he planned and planned some more to keep her near and safe, going so far as to give her a gun to help her protect herself because he knew he couldn't always be there to keep her safe. He let her stand her ground which I applaud!All in all, this was a great read and I devoured it! Now on to Denver's story!!!

After finishing up Rebecca Zanetti’s latest installment of the Blood Brothers series, Lethal Lies, three words came to mind – WOW….HOLY CRAP! Then the next thought that crossed my mind is when the heck is book three coming out, because I NEED it NOW!!! Because Lethal Lies was so good and so hard to put down, the wait for Twisted Truths is going to literally kill me!Ms. Zanetti has created some strong, seriously HOT alpha male characters that will have your heart fluttering and make you swoon from all the sexiness between the pages. Not only are these three men hunting down the Copper Killer – preventing him from killing any more innocent women, they are also trying to stay two steps ahead of a psychotic doctor and her twisted minions, and between it all, finding love in seemingly impossible places. All I can say is that there is never a dull moment to be had with this story. In addition to all this intense action, the reader gets to witness the relationship between Anya and Heath grow into something totally AMAZING. These two have this incredible sexual chemistry that just sizzles right off the pages! Seriously, it’s HOT and just to warn future readers…you may not want to read while at work, although the temptation will be there because this book was impossible to put down!Rebecca Zanetti had done it once again! With its deliciously hot sex scenes and enough twists and turns to make me delirious which had me reading until the wee hours of the morning, not caring that I had a job to go to, Lethal Lies had me feverously turning each page needing – no, craving MORE of this amazing story. If you are looking for a fast-paced, romantic suspense that totally engages your right from the start and is difficult to put down because you must find out what happens, then I highly recommend Lethal Lies. Ms. Zanetti has produced an edge of your seat story that is beyond amazing and one that you will want to check out. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!

I really like this series. It's a great second series based on the Sin Brothers one.At this point all three brothers are still on the run. Ryker is in the process of becoming engaged to Zara and Denver is still suffering over his decision to leave Noni. Heath is trying to track down FBI agent Loretta who has been captured by the Copper Killer. That is how he runs into Anya, Loretta's sister. It turns out that Anya is the real focus of the Copper Killer. He has been killing redheads and sending her pictures and letters when he kills one.After Loretta is found dead Anya sets herself up as bait and claims Heath is her fiancé. This is to make the killer jealous and so he'll come after her. She's planning to be well protected and doesn't expect to have to provide any heroics herself. Heath and the FBI aren't impressed. Heath decides she's a damsel in distress and brings her to live with his brothers and Zara.The sheriff and Dr. Maddison are closing in on the brothers, Anya's ex Carl is hassling her, and the Copper Killer is trying to capture Anya. Lots happens in Lethal Lies and I enjoyed it all.The writing is really good. The dialogue is excellent and the plot makes sense given the SF origin story of the men. While Anya isn't an enhanced soldier, she is a bad**s civilian. She's smart, brave, and thinks her way through danger. Heath is intelligent and tough. He's also openminded enough to fall for Anya the way she is.

Lethal Lies is the second book in the Blood Brothers trilogy, a spin off of the Sin Brothers, by Rebecca Zanetti and just as action packed and full of surprises as her other books in the series.Book two is Heath and Anya's story.Heath Jones has been genetically created in a lab by a very evil scientist and because of that he has special abilities. Heath and his brothers are on the run from their creators while trying to build their own life. Anya Best is a professor of criminal psychology and is seeking revenge for her sisters death. Her sister while previously working with the brothers was killed by a serial killer known as the Copper Killer.This action-fast-paced book is filled with mystery, suspense, romance and sexually tension. It's a very well written book with developed characters and believable outcomes. I can't wait for book three, which is Denver's book, to come out. Rebecca sets up Denver's story so nicely without leaving this book as a cliffhanger.

So normally I eat this authors books but this one was so hard to finish.I HATED Anya she was a selfish, childish horrible person. First she puts him on the line of fire without even thinking of what could happen to him, then she is like a child when he is trying to protect her and won't tell her all his secrets. Nope this book was definitely a book I enjoyed.

No words can describe this series of books. They're addictive and you can't stay away from them. You've always got to turn the page to see what happens next.

I liked the book before and the original series of books. This was just as good. A bit of a twist as tone the I'D of the copper killer. Looking forward to the next book.

Rebecca zanetti never fails. Have read all her books. Good story lines and plenty steamy sex!,!!
